Impressed with the kid. Linares is no walk in the park for any of the rest of them. Cotto, Canelo etc etc all had rocky moments they survived like Devin. Just saying.

Linares has been knocked out 2 of his last 3 fights prior to Haney, not to mention he was just knocked out in the first round by Cano 2 fights before. He went 12 rounds and got rocked badly, what exactly are you impressed by? People keep bringing up Canelo and Cotto being rocked, it's true, only problem Canelo was 19 and Cotto was in his 14 pro fight, both prospects at the Time, it's not the same comparison. Haney does show some good boxing skills, good, not great and will get killed by Lopez if he decides to really step up, Haney's lack of power will show it's ugly head when he steps up with the big boy's, Lopez, Garcia and Tank would of knocked him out if they were in the opposite corner on Saturday night.Comment

'Man-hugging Linares crotch....claiming he was not hurt after doing a 2 step back to his corner ...could not ever score a knockdown against the 5 time previously kod Linares! And this is the clown people are trying to claim everyone(Davis, Loma, Teo) r ducking? Lmao!! Yup...they all must quaking in their boots after the Linares'
Sorry, I think this is a spectacularly dumb-ass comment. Go back to the early 80s, which I think was the last time there was a division as stacked as 135 is. Oh, Benitez doesn't get KOs, Leonard rarely gets KOs, why should Hearns & Duran respect them? It isn't like that, its muy complicado. Haney, to me, is more skilled than Ryan, Teofimo or Tank & should beat any of them. When I say should I don't mean will, every one of those 3 presents Devin with problems. Loma poses a whole other set of problems because he is just as skilled, just as smart, just as intelligent (when it comes to boxing smart & intelligent are 2 very different things) as Devin & has FAR more experience. So, we'll see. Going the distance & being hurt by Linares isn't the worst thing that could happen to a young kid like Haney, put it that way.

OK, good come back.
I honestly don't believe, however, that Devin either could or should be scared of ANY of those men you named & I honestly think he beats them all. Loma definitely is the biggest risk because they match up in skills but Loma has so much greater experience. IF I was Bill Haney I would let that one 'marinate'. Teofimo looked amazing v Loma & I said beforehand that Loma would clown him so, my bad, but he has looked pretty bad in other fights. I'm still not totally sold on Teo. Tank is bouncing all over the place from 130 to 140 taking in 135 on a whistle stop tour. I like Tank as a boxer but I think he's screwing his career up & it shocks me that TMT are letting him do it. Right now if he fights Haney I think Devin stops him. Finally, there is Ryan. He stands there, head in the air, looking around like he just don't care. I got Devin to stop Ryan also.
You made a v good point about Leonard. All I was saying was, in the last time there was a division with this much talent, you didn't get lots of quick KOs because the best was fighting the best. Leonard w15 Benitez, Duran w15 Leonard, Hearns w15 Benitez, Benitez w15 Duran OK Leonard stops Hearns in 14. When the most scary bad MoFo fights the most scary bad MoFo you get great fights & seldom do you get short fights. That's all I was saying.
Best regards

I thought he looked good until he got tagged, did what he had to do to get through it. Thought the scorecatds were too close. Good learning fight for him
Got to say tho, the ref was disgraceful in those last 2 rounds. Didn't even warn him for holding. Should have probably had a point taken off. It was as bad as akinwande vs LewisComment

Haney looked like straight garbage against an old chinny thin skin fragile Linares yet he’s the one that got put in ***** Street.
Dude sucks ass big time he’s sloppy as fuxxxk with his lunging punches and gets hit easily.
Teo and Ryan absolutely kill Haney while Loma is closer since he hits like a female too.Comment
