It's actually humerous how lost Mosely's dad sounds in the corner. He says stuff a fan would say. Enzo Calzaghe the same. It's just like they offer encouragement.

Mosley couldn't handle Cotto's accurate punches and he's smart enough not to try to exchange because Cotto likes to do that as well. He tried Boxing Cotto and saw that didn't work. By the time he tried to be aggressive Cotto began countering making Mosley that much more frustrated.

He may have KO'd Margarito, but that doesn't mean he KO's Cotto too.

one thing i say about that fight... i don't think mosley was in it psychologically...he had cotto hurt a couple of times imo and didn't follow up because i don't think he felt his punches had any effect on cotto...until cotto pretty much collapsed and ran for the last couple of rounds...had shane stayed on top of cotto like he did against rivera, he would have eventually took him out...

I was rewatching cotto vs mosley and i was looking at shane mosley's corner and his father sort of discouraged him for some reason, asking him why hes not throwing punches, if shane hired ****m richardson as his trainer during the cotto fight what would have been the outcome?

you can't win a decision against cotto in MSG... its gotta be by KO.

shane's paw just cant handle shane in a tough spot. he shouldv been telling shane to use combos instead of one punch at a time. look at cotto & mayorga fights then check out the tony fight.
