    How Important Is A Fighter's Resume ???

Seems as though every time I mention the word ''resume'', I get frowny faces.

    WTH

If guy A is supposed to be so great, HOW CAN WE SUBSTANTIATE THAT CLAIM ?!?!?

    Vote (popularity contests) ?!?!?!

Can't a guy look like an immortal if they only fight guys like Steve Zouski and Amel Barotillo ?

At what point do we, as HONEST FIGHT FANS, stop and take a look ???

Was this guy old and useless when guy B beat him ?!?!?
If so, how much value is that W ?!?!?

Resume is fine, as long as you take into account who, how, where, when, what weight etc. People seem to leave a lot of variables out when they review resumes.

All of that info is in the resume.

And it's not about the 'resume' - it's about how people evaluate the resume. When you have all those variables in analyzing the resume, then some people get it wrong, and some people try to knowingly twist it to suit their favorite fighters etc

No need to '' the word resume.

You go to a library for a specific book. I'm hoping you are not only interested in the cover.

You get it, you read it. You don't rewrite it the way YOU want it to be.

Too much push back when it comes to a fighters resume.

Have you ever read, or written, a resume? Do you understand what goes into writing a resume? People can spin things however they want. Trevor Berbick beat Ali. But there is obviously a lot more to that win than beating Ali. Derp

I have written and gone over resumes as a supervisor.

Some bosses don't see if the resume is legit (favoritism ? nepotism ? sexy bish ?). Just hire that person on the spot (believe the resume not finding out if it's legit. Sometimes it bites that boss in the ass).

When a resume, such as an actor or athlete, is being discussed, spinning it doesn't work. Honesty will prevail.

The resume will tell a person what version of Ali Berbick beat. Simple derp........
