Well the kid has been calling for the showdown and all you hear is excuses. It's guaranteed that Lopez will use the fact that Haney got hurt or didn't get the ko as excuses to duck again. The WBC needs to stop their BS and strip Lopez from that fake franchise **** so his ****ing ducking ass can go away.

Very good fight and win for Haney. Both guys have a lot of heart and Devin showed he could fight in the pocket and win. He was hurt for a brief moment late in the fight and still showed he could recover.

He's got some of Mayweather's slickness, but not as much. The vulnerability showed will actually help him now secure the bigger fights, and he was quite entertaining as well.

Lopez, if he beats Kambosos, and Haney, Ryan and Davis really should fight each other. Also Shakur Stevenson can come into the frame.

One solid, crisp , combination from someone that hits as hard as Linares and Haney is out of there. Linares is an old jr.ightweight. , and had Haney at his mercy . A Loma, Lopez , a Garcia , a Tank, doesn't let situations like that slip thru their fingers. Haney was lucky Linares couldn't pull the trigger again. That's all this fight was. Luck on Haney's part. Who gives a flying **** if he jabbed beautiful for 9 Rds? Haney will get knocked stiff by the big boys. He's there to be hit and he will get hit and he will get knocked out. Take that to the bank.
Have to agree with this assessment to be fair, he was more than wobbly and held on for dear life for 2 rounds, I can't see that 0 being there within the next 3-4 fights depending on level of opposition, if Linares was 4 years younger he would have knocked him out cold

Very entertaining fight without a doubt. Linares earned the right to another shot at the highest level and Haney got the experience of facing real adversity and still get the W. That being said, once Teofimo punches Haney, he’s going to stay punched.

But he showed the warrior heart and did not quit.

Although I don't think Haney will be undefeated for too much longer I have to say his jab is pure cash

Not saying he did quit, and agree there was plenty heart shown but that doesn't get away from the fact he was one solid punch away from being knocked the f out
