I'm not. I've already seen him improve and think he'll continue to. He's just never going to be a threat to Spence or Bud and guys like Ennis and Ortiz are further along than him and won't be surpassed by him either.. Maybe he will become a player but no, he's not going to be a top guy at welter.Comment

Yes improved but the top end of that division is like murderers row. At the moment I wouldn't even back him against Avanesyan.
He needs learning fights and slowly move up in levels but they want to make him a ppv star in the UK so they may rush him .Comment

You could be an English teacher of you just understood English. Twist your words? What does conor benn IS a problem for welterweight division mean. To anyone with half a brain (this leaves you out) that should mean he should be able to beat at least 2-3 of the top ten. He obviously can't, therefore he really isn't a problem.Comment

I like how Benn is improving his skills fight by fight, he definitely looks like he's got some talent, but he's a bit undersized compared some of these other young welters coming up. I saw him stood next to Teofimo on a video the other day and they looked basically the same size, from all angles. Still though, if he sharpens his tools enough, he can make some noise. He's got some explosiveness.Comment

The kid is improving fast and looked nothing short of sensational in his last fightm blasting out an opponent who went rounds with spence and garcia and was meant to give Conor a firm test. Son of one of the greatest to lace them up, the dark destroyer Nigel Benn, Conor has inherited his legendary work ethic and is known for being the hardest worker in the gym. At 24 years old he seems ready to take the next step and in a division with a real lack of quality he could soon find himself with a world title shot. He is chasing a fight with Amir Khan however Amir is understandably not keen on this at his stage in his career. How should Conor be guided from here on?Nigel Benn is nowhere near one of the greatest to lace them up. And beating guys after others softened them up isn't that impressive.
