Thought this was a hater thread but I agree 100© Horn should get more credit for his performance.

I think when a big underdog is in a close round it can sometimes feel like that it was a great round for them and a horrible one for the favourite. Which is true on paper, but there isn’t a point spread when you score a boxing round. I think the Aussie crowd really helped Horn. But I don’t think he won the fight in my opinion. Did much better than expected though. When Ward fought Kovalev the first time, I felt like Ward was rewarded for not getting finished and Kovalev was punished for not finishing him off. Like the feel good narrative was Ward coming back, and it was drama and kind of exciting. But he was also holding on a ton in that fight. It’s like he made Kovalev somehow look worse even though Kovalev wasent the one climbing off the mat or clinching. I’d love for top fighters to travel the world fighting. Champions going to opponents hometowns, but precedent shows that it’s just not good sense.
