Over 50 fights at the age of 35 against a kid who can do things in the ring already at 22 forget the betting odds it dont look good for Linares . although I do believe it will be a good fight for as long as it lasts. and that will be under 8 rounds.

Exactly, plus going in a fight just looking for a KO is known to be a bad idea (boxing 101). IMHO anyone saying it's a good plan to go in looking for the KO isn't even worth discussing boxing with.

That's fine.. Lopez got the same treatement from Loma's team but, he kept going until he could not be denied. Plus, by the time they stopped denying Lopez, they had put themselves in position of having to pay him more for getting the high profile wins they themselves demanded lol. Haney doesn't have to worry about those guys, he just needs keep winning.

Everybody saying give Haney a break if he stinks out the joint haha. Isn’t he a world champion? Training wheels are off and he better score the KO or at least score some Knockdowns.

one thing Linares can capitalize is that he can walk Haney down in the second half of the fight, a old faded smaller Gamboa was able to push Haney back late in the fight so I expect Linares to do the same as well.

Hope we get a good fight tomorrow.

That's why I worry for Boots Ennis and Vergil Ortiz Jr.! It's pretty clear, they are looking for it!

Same here, it's marathon not a sprint. Yes, it makes for great fights for us fans but, fans won't be paying the medical bills down the road. Age can make minor injuries interesting, brushed my teath before bed and my back locked at a 90 degree angle and i could barely walk for a few days lol. Only happened once but, I'm not quite 50 yet. Despite being known for my crazy pain tolerance that was something on another level! A baseball bat to the head was nothing compared to this pain and sadly, I know this from experience and not just one incident..

I don’t feel like I need to watch Devin Haney, if I happen to see, I see him.

He should have said this vs Gamboa.

But I agree it's not his style so if it comes it comes if it doesn't oh well
