The critics did discredit Mayweather's wins again Hatton and De la Hoya. It is the truth, take away who the person is, let's talk about the writers. All of this will be eliminated if people would just say that they like Pacquaio more than Mayweather than just saying that his wins meant nothing. Mayweather also has a point about fighting Oscar at his best, as far as strength. You can see it by his aggressiveness versus how he fought against Manny. However, to Manny's credit, he is more likeable than Floyd Mayweather and his wins LOOKED better to the fans to see. Floyd is doing the right thing in fighting a tough Marquez who most REAL boxing fans KNOW for a fact that he lost to Marquez. It is a great setup fight, should he win, because it is not a given. Marquez beat Casamayor and Diaz by KO and FM has ring rust and is always in the headlines for something. He may be distracted so he'd better be ready.

Mayweather please shut your pie hole coz you talk too much **** if you keep saying you're the best and you don't want to let go...and see other people succeed then why did you retire in the first place...just be quiet and be happy for other people coz you had your time then and let other people have their time of glory...

According to his own words that have come out of his mouth, split decisions don't count as wins so Mayweather never beat De La Hoya, so he can't claim a victory he doesn't have is better than the one Pac has over Oscar.

Even though Pacquiao may have blown Hatton out and
beat De La Hoya down while Mayweather took his time
and technically beat them. Pacquiao's style going up
against Mayweather would get him beat down. There's
no way that Pacquiao could go up against Floyd fighting
          like he did against Oscar/Hatton.

Manny Pacquiao is a counter punchers dream fight.
Pacquiao has his best fights against people that
come forward pure boxers always give him trouble.
I think JMM will give Floyd more problems than
              Pacquiao would.

Pacman was much more impressive in his wins against DeLaHoya and Hatton, and Mayweather presents a lame excuse for why. Predictably the people who idolize him lap it up. I think his statements are excuses. Fact is Pacman did to DeLaHoya what Mayweather only SAID he would do.

As usual, Mayweather's talk exceeds his performances.
