While I do believe that DLH was weight drained he wasn't that far off from the version that FLoyd faced the big difference was Pac going after him. And Hatton that's just pure bull****, Pac blew Hatton away while Floyd was just happy to sit back and let Hatton do his work for him.

He hasnt proved his self at WW so IMO there is NO difference between Pac and JMM like Mayweather keeps saying. over and over.
During the period when you said PAc was struggling with JMM, if PBF at that time with all his boxing style was in the Superfeatherweight, i bet PBF is no match with Pac. that's for sure! Not even to JMM! He was just lucky, he never meet them when he was at that weight, because I think even Barrera and Morales would beat him! Well he was then at the WW and some good oppositions was there, but as not as good oppositions as those stars in the Superfeatherweight at that time.

But I bet too, if those stars were at WW with those skills and powers during that time, PBF is just nothing today! Pac proves his worth at those lighter weight divisions better than PBF proves himself before he retires, after ducking the new stars of WW at that time in the likes of Cotto and Margarito!
Now, he is facing JMM who is not tested yet at WW, however if he carried his skills, power and stamina in WW, there is no reason he can not beat PBF on Sept 19. But I doubt if he can beat PBF because I think he will not be the JMM in the lighter weights in WW on that fight night. Pac carried them all, and let's see who will the best in WW when the two face each other next!

I agree 100% with Floyd. They have really hyped up Manny. I don't think Cotto is the fighter he once was so he might slip by him.But Floyd will beat the **** out of Manny. The most competetive fight out there is Mayweather vs Mosley. It may not draw the money that a Pacquiao fight would, but it would display boxing and skill at its best.

I have always said Manny is very Over Rated!

Floyd is totally 100% right about Hatton & De La Hoya..Floyd beat Oscar wearing 10oz gloves, at 154 which is much more comfortable weight for Oscar, Oscar chose the ring size and everything. Floyd KO'd Hatton when Hatton was undefeated. Floyd didn't call out Hatton until Hatton called him out. Manny stopped Oscar who signed in the contract that he had to come in at 145. He also wore 8oz gloves. We all know what real body punchers will do to Manny. He can't take a punch at all body or head and he cuts easily. I have been saying from day one that Manny is a manufactured over hyped employee of Arum. Top rank created Butterbean & Tye Fields and Mia St. John.

Hatton was doomed from day one.

Anyway I know boxing analysts had mayweather the big favorite but many on here had Hatton just destroying Mayweather and so on.... it was annoying. Same for when people said he would beat Pac because of how bad he beat Pauli.... and so on.....

My big thing is that just because Manny beat two guys that where in worse shape than when Mayweather fought them doesn't mean Pac could beat Mayweather.

If Hatton looked terrible against Paulie, how did Hatton looked against Collazo?
You see, Hatton looked worse against Collazo at 147.

Maybe DLH was drained against Pac, but Hatton was definitely not in worse shape against Pac. Hatton was even in better shape against Pac bcoz it was in Hatton's natural weight.

The two wins of Pac did show that he could beat Mayweather. Many experts, not just media, including trainers and boxers did see great improved skills in Pac in this two fights. Even Roger Mayweather saw it. He just doesn't believe its enough to beat Floyd. But many believed Pac can beat Floyd.

Does it mean Pac will beat Floyd? Maybe yes. Maybe no. That remains to be seen. But Pac does have a chance.

Floyd has never fought somebody with the skills of JMM. Maybe Pac has not proved himself at WW. But he certainly proved that he could cary his speed and power in going up. JMM certainly slowed down in going up. That's the difference. JMM's strength had always been his speed and quick reflexes. It was not yet proven if he could cary that to WW.

Did Floyd proved himself at WW? NO!!

Pac beat Hatton at 140 which is comfortable weight for Hatton. Hatton moved up to 147 to fight Floyd.

Do you really know what real body punchers will do to Manny?
How about what real body punchers will do to Floyd?

If somebody is overhyped, it's Floyd. Arum doesn't hire publicist to hype Pacquiao. Floyd do hire publicist to hype himself. Floyd hype himself on ESPN, WWE, Dancing with the Stars, and every tabloid he can grab on.

Those are hilarious. Just like in the ring, Floyd runs from effective pressure.
