Was Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder stretched, like Josh Warrington? There are legitimate questions and mysteries revolving Wilder-Fury II, which need to be answered between Wilder and the Gypsy-Bum, in the trilogy. Josh Warrington would need the explosive power of Deontay Wilder to stand a chance against Mauricio Lara, too bad Warrington not only lacks the KO ability but also a chin, Deontay Wilder has both qualities and is given better odds against Tyson by the bookies, than Warrington.

I didn't remember he dropped the title. Thanks!

We all talk about Lopez, Crawford & Yoka ECT being stay at home fighters, but Warrington's one of the biggest offenders.

So he wants to be knocked out in a stadium full of his own people in his hometown?

Having a rematch clause on non title fights isn’t an issues. Having it on mandatory is worse.

You could tell he couldn’t fight without his hometown crowd.

You get what you negotiate for. No different than Floyd having a rematch clause with Mosley in a non title fight.

It's not that long ago he reckoned he was gonna crack the USA. Now here he is still in ecky thump land, scoffing bread & dripping, tripe & Yorkshire pudding, washed down with John Smith's!

That's why I would just take it to a purse bid. You're not supposed to have them in mandatory defenses, that's the point. The reason so many champs try to negotiate for a deal before the fight it "here's an extra ten bucks, we get a rematch" lol

Well he drop his belt before this fight, so he automatically would insert a rematch clause in the contract anyways. I mean who knew Lara before he signed to fight Josh? No one that is… He KHTFO and made a name for himself, and in a rematch he would make even bigger money.

Better than fighting in low arena for less money in Mexico. It’s a win win for Lara in this case.
