And yet you don't use this logic for Deontay Wilder. What happens to the bronze bum if he gets knocked out a second time? They both have rematch clauses and are entitled to use them.

Was Deontay 'Bronze-Bomber' Wilder stretched, like Josh Warrington? That's why I would just take it to a purse bid. You're not supposed to have them in mandatory defenses, that's the point. The reason so many champs try to negotiate for a deal before the fight it "here's an extra ten bucks, we get a rematch" lol

Well he drop his belt before this fight, so he automatically would insert a rematch clause in the contract anyways. I mean who knew Lara before he signed to fight Josh? No one that is… He KHTFO and made a name for himself, and in a rematch he would make even bigger money.

Better than fighting in low arena for less money in Mexico. It’s a win win for Lara in this case.
