Comments Thread For: Whyte: Usyk Has Looked Terrible at Heavyweight, He Has No Punch Power

Heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte believes Oleksandr Usyk has little to no chance of upsetting IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. The World Boxing Organization recently ordered Joshua to make a mandatory defense against Usyk.

Whyte is correct here, Usyk has looked average at best up there and is little threat there. Whyte for his part has already been KO'd by Joshua and has been ironed out by a old faded fighter since , having already refused to take a rematch with Joshua .Maybe they should fight.

Maybe. And Whyte has looked like a mid tier contender, capable of being KTFO by anyone at any time for the last 3 years

Yet he didn’t need 23 rounds to beat Chisora

I'm sure he can punch if he walks AJ onto one and we've seen AJ obviously hurt a few times now plus all heavyweights can punch pretty much. Usyk is now a 230 pound man.

Whyte is wrong on Haye anyway. Man did get a version of the world title and knocked out a few decent fighters.

Usyk is an elite boxer. I cant see it as shocking if he did dethrone AJ. Especially if he himself can hold a big shot. AJ is the favorite and is a class act himself but Usyk is a serious, experienced, skilful, resilient operator.

I find it weird when fighters s.hit over other fighters who are obviously good. What's the point really?

Albeit not a bad as when a fan calls a world champion a fraud or a bum, lol

Funny, because if someone ordered a final eliminator between Whyte and Usyk I guarantee Whyte wouldn't take it.

Hmmmm I suspect Usyk is being taken too lightly, his boxing ability and pedigree make him a threat to Joshua and it isn’t as if he is overly small compared to Joshua

He rocked Chisora pretty badly. If it wasn’t for the bell
he might have got him out of there. Even an old Chisora as a pretty decent chin.

He punches hard enough. Britain’s Crumber 1 never has a positive word to say
