It's funny how beating a C level fighter can suddenly make you a top 10 PFP fighter..

c'mon guy, nobody fights winner takes all. nobody!!!
Didn't Roy also offer 70/30 to the winner? Maybe if there was more of this type of incentive, mofos wouldn't be quitting on their stools, or on their knees.

Styles make fights. Somehow I think the X man knows this.

but you're right on the money with all your statements...

its the roy jones fans that still want to believe in the "legend" of roy jones, that dare say he can beat hopkins, after beating up on JEFF LACY...
there was an abundance of clinching in the Pav fight too. So much in fact Hops got a point deducted for it... diff was that he was able to get his shots of before/after he clinched..Pav was slow enough for Hops to hit and clinch, ..dont say he didnt clinch in the Pav fight, thats just ignorant.

            Peter Manfredo a close decision
            Epifanio Mendoza a close decision
            Jermain Taylor a decisive loss
            Otis Griffin a close decision
            Roy Jones a decisive loss

He is just terrible these days.
good point, but at the same time you could technically say he won a few of those. as in it was close enough to not be a flat out robbery.

Otis Griffin is probably the most embarressing performance of his to date, which is saying something.

oh and for the record, I have 0 interest in this fight being made. do you honestly believe it would be in the least bit entertaining? even when they were about 20 years younger it was pretty much a snoozefest.
