Lol, so you have no idea how escrow works huh? The fact the money was in escrow guarantees they won't get paid, escrow is a neutral third party holding funds until both parties fulfil terms. There is absolutely zero chance Fury or Joshua will be paid for this fight since it is not happening and its not SA's fault.

To think the Saudis would have to pay $200M for a fight that is not happening, to not know what escrow means at all, I am genuinely confused, are you very young or just completely ignorant as to how the world works?

You got me there pal! I know how escrow accounts work. It means getting paid through a third party but how the Hell should anyone know what were on the contracts and how they were drafted? Hard to argue with Warren on this as what he says is exactly as I remember the events. Both fighters simply have obligations in other directions. If they take care of business, maybe we can do this later in the year

All of this is the TYPICAL mess after a hearn big-fight negotiation. More failure than success, bad blood all around, pitiful fan-girls backed into corners trying to defend hearn/AJ, and boxing careers in temporary disarray. We get this nearly every time hearn & co. negotiate a Big Fight with AJ included. Unfortunately, AJ can't seem to be in a big fight without hearn and all of his drama/nonsense. They just don't seem to be able to contract a big fight (minus rematch BS, attempts to take over other fighters careers for a time, venue issues, who ets paid what issues, and complete domination of "the actual promotion" of the fight by hearn. Boxing will be so much better off when this guy is no longer in the mix for making Big Fights, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Larry Holmes, Marciano, etc ... all contracted MANY big fights without all of the rancor, delays, general BS, and more that seem to always be a part of a hearn negotiation.

Hearn wants to make it SEEM like he wants fights without actually wanting to make fights. Basically he's trying to create the impression. When anyone thinks its genuine it's working. Arum n PBC are beside the point but are convenient subjects when deflecting from the topic. Hearn don't want fury or wilder fights but as long as the public think he's tried to make those fights, they'll give him a pass vs other opponents

The WBO said they would allow the fight so Warren talking BS again. Warren in march said everything was agreed, the only needed the site and the fight would be signed soon. Now he's changing his tune.

“But what I can say is that everything is agreed, it’s an imminent announcement and we’ve got to work on a site, and that’s it.

“It’s absolutely moving in the right direction and everybody is on the same page.

“Nobody is more frustrated than the fighters and us, we’ve worked like you cannot believe to get this over the line.

Fury and his team lied to everyone. Made it look like Wilder wouldn't be a problem. Why would Warren be saying the fight would be signed soon if they couldn't? Enjoying the publicity?

If that’s the case how come the company behind AJ are running more articles on fury than they are Joshua? Fury has twice the fans AJ has in America and both are just as equally known around the U.K. And Europe.

fury is already a highly publicised fighter without Hearn and before this fight was even negotiated.

So fury hasn’t gotten any more publicity than Hearn or Joshua.

how come fury is supposed to breach contracts and be open to be sued, pay £20M dollars to make someone wait a few months longer for a fight you are still going to have to give him,

but Eddie couldn’t and wouldn't give wilder the split he wanted to give the whole world the fight it wants, and intentionally made sure that fight didn’t happen.

So In his IFL Interview Eddie even gave himself away, apparently this fury fight was everything they’d ever worked for, UNDISPUTED. but they had exact same opportunity with wilder, and onto that...
