I think Nonito wins this one. Oubaali, too, has beaten no one of note to date. I myself have doubts on Haney, but also have a certainty in Linares' lack of punch resistance. Haney is quick, he could find that chin through sheer speed and combinations.

The only reason I think this likely goes the distance is Haney couldn’t put a dent in a shot Gamboa who also lacks punch resistance. I don’t think Haney has much pop tbh.

You're correct, but I think Gamboa is smarter than Linares in terms of ring generalship. It will be an interesting fight for sure...
However, my betting money this week will go on Nonito winning inside the limit.

Rooting hard for Nonito one of my favourite fighters of the last 10-15 years. Still remember him upsetting Darchinyan with that brutal left hook back in 2007, how time flies…

Heart wouldn’t let me pick against Donaire and Linares. Big fans of both and sat by Jorge at a fight once, plus I still have major doubts about Haney, still hasn’t beaten anyone so wouldn’t surprise me if Linares has enough left in the tank to pull it off.

Odds are pretty crazy for Haney with the bookies, had to throw cash down on Linares by DEC at 20 to 1!
