  • As I look as the last 4 fights of pacquiao I see

    Pacquiao:
    Hatton
    De la hoya.
    Diaz.
    Marquez (I think).

Out of those 4 for pacquaio 2 (de la hoya, hatton) were either dehydrated and need an iv 2 hrs before the fight or was %100 tailored made for pacquaio 1 of the 4 (diaz) knew he was going to get his ass kicked and was quoted b4 the fight sayin that so that tell you he was hand picked and a bum 3/4 pacquiao was able to do whatever he damn well pleased with out a concern of a defense cuz either they were on their death bed or plain ****** he could pull that bull**** he been doin lately on marquez cause he was taggin the **** out of him for making dumbass mistakes and like marquez I feel cotto will make him pay for mistakes we all no he makes and he makes him over and over he doesn't jab he is always out of place when he punches and his defense is poor
Of course every pac meat rubber is going to say well he doesn't need defense when he punches at blind speed...(if u say somethin like u should drink acid).. tell that **** roy jones when all he had was speed until traver put him to sleep tell that to meldrick taylor when he needed to go to the hospital cause he had blood clots in his brain after rumbling with chavez.. yes speed kills but if your speed is neutralized or it slows down through the course of the fight and your defense sux then wtf do u do now besides doggy paddle in the middle of shark infested water

cotto a 9th rd ko via 8 rds of beatin the dog **** outta pacquiao

an inteligent warrior lives to fight another day!

Isn't that what victor ortiz said? He quit didn't he?
Don't know what victor said! Don't care!

True, but cotto stamina is his achilles hill.
I would'nt call it his achilles heel but it is something he could work on. Most of his fights have'nt gone the distance
yep... Pac better roll under and turn cotto.
No pac better run like hell!

Actually pac's straight left hand comes right up the middle.
Well i would hope his straight left comes straight?

No nonononon.... Backing up is what pac needs to avoid.

        He'll have no choice!
Once a quitter always a quitter.
sticks and stones! Let me ask you a question. At what point did he quit?

Then he wanted the weight for the fight to be at 141. Then he wouldn't fight
in the east coast, so now the fight is in Las Vegas. Now we find out, he wants a 100 foot ring, so he can pop shot Cotto all night. This news is just great.

It kind of reminds me of a big fight that took place in Las Vegas, when Lennox Lewis was taking Rachman lightly, shooting a flim in Africa before fighting him and Rachman shocked the world and knocked Lewis the *** out.
I see the same here, no training camp, shooting flims, not in shape, lots of distractions and not enough focus. (R.I.P Litte brother ROACH!)

I agree, sounds like deja-vu to me also, but lets see at fight night.....

Sure, his numbers will look high but if you dump him in there with Mosley, Mayweather or even a Paulie Malignaggi he'll miss a lot more. I mean Cotto had about those same numbers against Margarito, yet only landed about 30% on Clottey, Manny wouldn't see anymore than that against Clottey. However, while Clottey makes people miss by blocking, Cotto has shown that he still has high accuracy against slick and faster fighters, Judah, Mosley, Malignaggi are perfect examples. I can't even say how Manny would do against someone like that because again, I don't think I've seen a single fight where he's needed to chase someone or someone who has that slick evasive style.

Side note: As stated, he fought a skeleton of DLH and anyone can tag Hatton all day long. Mayweather landed 45% in 11 rounds and 55% of his power shots, the guy is an easy target.
Mayweather landed 100 of 257 power punches against Hatton - 39%. Your figures are made up.

Pacquiao landed 195 of 333 power punches against Hatton, a 59% ratio. Not only was his accuracy nearly twice as high as Mayweather's, but he landed nearly twice as many power punches in two rounds as Mayweather landed in 10.

As I said before, you're showing yourself up as a hater.

I know, but someone claimed that Cotto is much more accurate than Pacquiao and that's simply rubbish. Pacquiao is one of the most accurate boxers in the sport today. Cotto is also very accurate but he's not more accurate than Pacquiao.

                • I honestly don't think Cotto is going to catch Pac with anything major. Pac's movement and speed is going to confuse him. He barely hit Shane with anything hard, so he's not gonna hit Pac with anything major, and he's gonna run out of gas by the 5th round and get hurt.

By your logic, because Cotto managed to beat Mosley, he should also beat Pac.
