so this should be easy for Cotto

if he can't beat Pac right there & then, he should quit boxing

its going to be a battle of chins really whomever can take whos punch better will win,and cotto does hold that advantage.cotto has taken far heavier shots than pac ever has. pac has yet to feel true welter power.hatton barley clipped pac and it didnt look like pac would hold up to many of those.jmm stunned pac various times at least 3-4 in 2nd fight and more in first. cotto hits waaaaaaaaaaaaay hardr than jmm.

why should he quit do you have that little of respect for pac like hes a nobody?? if cotto lost to someone like diaz or a 3rd rate fighter then you could say cotto should then quit. but if he loses to the so-called best fighter he has to retire ???? absurd. pac lost to a super shot morales should he have retired??? morales was more shot than cotto currently is.it wasnt till morales had like 4 losses out of 5 fights that pac got to him pfpfpfpfpfpfpfpf

Well, more than likely, they have also considered all those same scenarios, so when they're finally up in the ring on november 14, all of this will go out the window and all that will be left is manny pacquiao vs. Miguel cotto...a headbutt, a cut, a low blow, a well placed hook to the body, a well placed right to the face can change everything.
yes you right about all that and i couldn't say it any better, but as a fight fan you gotta talk about some topics with other fight fans.. Its all for the love of the sport..

He knows he quit, whether you want to admit or not. Yawlll are talkin bout the logistics of the fight, ins and out, skill, speed, body shots , slipping and sliding but what cotto is thinkin about is trying to get into shape so he hopefully won't quit.

Quit once , you'll quit again !!!!!!!!! Sad but true !!!!!!!

Pacman will take him to the regions beyond to the trenches in an all out war, pacman likes it , cotto has found out that is the place he quits
cotto hasn't quit!! If you talking about the fight with margochito fight his trainer through in the towel!! The man took bricks for 11 rounds and took a knee not a ko, but a tko!!

I don't get this at all. Aren't you the same guy who says Cotto is garbage, he quit against Marg, "loss" to Mosley, got totally exposed by Clottey, yet, he should be able to steam roll over the #1 P4P fighter in the world. I'm sorry, but you can't have it both ways, this isn't going to be a easy fight for Paq, but it sure as hell isn't going to be an easy fight for Cotto either. He won't be required to be more on the defense in this fight, and he has shown he's at his best this way, however, he's in there with the fastest guy he's probably ever been in the ring with and cutting off the ring isn't going to be easy on top of being hit with some solid shots.

This fight shouldn't and isn't going to be a walk in the park for either fighter, and if its a close fight, it should elevate both fighters I would believe. It shows, even if in a closely fight split decision (ala Marquez) that Manny is able to contend with legitimate WW's. And for Cotto it shows that the Marg ghost is behind and he still has what it takes if, even in defeat, went the distance and arguably could have won against one of the top 2 best fighters in the world.

I wonder on what you base your "great, wonderful and brilliant analysis", but before you answer let me give you a peice of history.

Ali was bigger, faster 10 lbs heavier and had a huge advantage in boxing skills then Joe Frazier when they 1st fought. In other words more advantange than what Cotto has over Pacquiao for this fight. Even with those advantgae that Ali had he lost to Frazier.

Base on your "great, wonderful and brilliant analysis" if you would had been Ali's adviser he would had to retire after that 1st Joe Frazier fight and we would had not be able to see Ali/Frazier II and III, Ali/Foreman, Ali/Norton I, II and III etc....fight that actually build Ali's resume as the ATG.

WOW, that's how much you comment (post) is "great, wonderful and brilliant"

If you ask me, I think you have seen to many posts here from Pullcounter and his cheap excuse of Cotto fighting a 106 lbs, like if Cotto of 2009 will be fighting a Pacman of 1995.

                      PS
By any means I would compare Ali to either Cotto or Pacquaio, just using them as an example to some nonsense post placed here.
