Pacquiao's power might be underestimated like you said, but Cotto's speed is also being underestimated. If you look at the fights against Judah, Paulie and Mosley, 3 fighters that have very good handspeed, Cotto was able to match their handspeed in the ring and beat them with his boxing skills.
Not saying that he will be able to match Pacquaio's speed but I beleive Cotto has more speed than JMM who gave Pacquaio hell.

Margarito better stamina LOL He is a lot slower and paces himself and also a slow starter that puts a lot of pressure but not as much as Pacquiao so what hes bigger.

PAcs defense is his offence. So you cant compare defense to Clotteys. Their offence is totally different.
I know Pac has fast hands, but what makes you think that at 147 lbs he'll have the same fast hands as he did in the lower weights. The heavier you get the slower you become atleast most of the time.

        Just asking.

And i would suggest Team Cotto to have a plan B just in case.

        Just saying...
Pac is not coming to put pressure on anybody his running all night as long as he can and if he comes to trade shots with Cotto then i'll have to say goodnite Pac.

Almost all of Pac's KO's are with his left, his hands are fast but the left is where the power is especially when he snaps it. They way its delivered it would knockdown or KO anybody not ready for it. Also his herky jerky waist movement positions the punch(which at times leaves him out of balance) and sometimes he will step in and fire it when his opponents think he is out of range(ala Daniel Zaragosa)I'm sure the Cotto camp have picked that up by now. Pac footing and balance has been greatly been improved under Roach, but his speed and alethic ability make these flaws hard to exploit.

nah, clottey gases just like cotto.

Even with the peek a boo defense that Clottey had you can hear the impact of the punches crashing into his arms.
i don't make these kinds of judgments by the sound punches make.

I have boxed for a long time before and seen a lot of fights live, trust me it does have an effect. Have you ever seen Tyson live, every time he hit Razor Ruddock on the body it sounded like a bass drum. Ruddock always had to hold after getting hit like that

I definitely think Cotto has the skills to outbox Pacquiao. He needs to worry about his speed and movement, and I think he will. I think Miguel will do good in this fight.

                  I have.

                  duh... Judah is a front-runner...

false, he gased, that's why he started running.

well, that is the only way pac can win... if pac didn't think he could do it, I dunno how he thinks he could beat cotto.

pac got hit against hatton and dlh.

if cotto can't stop a former 106 lber he might as well retire from boxing.
Agree with you in everything bro.

Pullcounter mentioned that Cotto's right hand is weak, and I wonder if it has to do with that bad car accident that he suffered that they were talking about during the Judah-Cotto countdown. Cotto has the similarity of De La Hoya when it comes to being a converted Southpaw and it makes me wonder if Pacquiao will deal with that pretty easily as he did with De La Hoya.

I doubt it Pac is a warrior. Cotto will be like "**** that little dude hits hard".
