Cleverly v Mcintosh got 600,000 viewers

So why is boxing still such a small-time sport in Britain?

I think he might of done more than Khan, I'll check now.

And yes, it was on the same time as the undercard for Khan-Kotelnik was on for. Think it was Hall-Small fighting.

        Khan-Kotelnik did about 30k buys.

Can't believe Cleverly-McIntosh had 200% more views but BBC won't pick up boxing again.

I tried to get a stream to watch Cleverly's fight, but caught it during the post fight interviews, and the one with Froch.

The interview with Mcintosh made me laugh, and when he did his little acrobatics in the ring.

It was a great fight, Cleverly's still filling out too. Looks like he might be a cruiserweight.

Is there just no money in it? The UK, from what I've seen on Sky Sports, seems to be all about football, cricket, rugby, F1, and to a lesser extent snooker and darts. Then they go ahead and put all their eggs in one basket with the likes of Hatton, Khan, etc.

I mean ****, Froch is in arguably the biggest boxing event of the year and no one has picked up the Super Six yet?

No one cares about boxing though.

Cannot remember the last time we even had a card on the TV. Might have been a few months ago.

It just gets no coverage at all. No one's picked up Super Six yet, ESPN might show the highlights like a week later..

It's a wonder we actually produce any fighters at all when our boxing coverage is about the same as Albania's.
