Could Spence outbox Manny from the outside behind a jab?

Spence is a seek-and-destroy pressure fighter, but he also has very good boxing skills and IQ.

Spence is also 5ft10, taller than Algieri and Lara.

Instead of trying to pressure Manny, could Spence use his height, reach, and jab to outbox Manny from the outside for 12 rounds?

More importantly, would it be wise for him to do so?

I believe Spence can tank all of GrandPac's punches without getting hurt...

Are you serious kid? Pac would be lucky just to last the distance with Spence. I don't like this match up at all for Manny. It's too risky and dangerous for him at his age.

I think he will start off blazing and Spence will have to adjust to his speed. Spence can beat him on the outside during those early moments and then when PAC starts to fade, apply pressure. I doubt he will make him look ******. That’s just you demonstrating straight up hate.

            Could happen

Pressure can be applied when outboxing the opponent. Floyd did it to Mosley

Spence ranges is to outbox behind the jab or fight inside

if manny’s left counters that jab, he’ll have to adjust by going inside which is manny’s weakest range

Pac has much shorter arms, so Spence will still have to be careful during those phone booth exchanges.

I'm glad that they're both southpaws so they won't spend time jockeying for optimal foot positioning.

spence is not 5’10 he is 5’9 and Chris Algieri is 5’11

spence will likely counter pacquiao coming in and stop him.
