Leonard started at 147. Beating Hagler at 160. His 3rd weight class. Floyd started at 130 and beat Oscar at 154. his 5th weight classes.

See the difference. Floyd moved up 24 pounds. Leonard moved up 13 pounds.

The ray that fought Duran fought a better fight than the Mayweathr that fought Castillo. Castillo is nothing compared to Duran. Also, I agree Mayweather would not be as ****** Ray was to fight Duran's fight. However that loss and the toughness and heart Ray showed, vs Duran, Hagler, Hearns, is why Ray will always be considered better on pound per pound lists than Mayweather. Mayweather would have gotten destroyed if he dared fight a toe to toe battle with a all time top pound per pound fighter like Duran.

I actually defend Mayweather a lot, I think he is a great fighr, but lets not get it twisted. He moved up and after 140 he has not beaten a top fighter at their natural weight, and who was peak. DLH was shot, Hatton was nothing at 147, reference hsi fight vs callazo. Also Hatton getting stopped in 1 by Pacman.

Mayweather has not beaten a top 147 pounder yet. Judah not top 10, baldomire a joke, Dlh was shot now he is fighting a light weight fighter who never fought at 144 before.....Why doesnt he fight cotto, margerito. Williams, Mosley,etc... Leoanrd fought all the top fighters. and these where top all time pound per pound fighters, and ray beat all of them. So please dont compare Sugar wins vs Duran hearns, Hagler Benetiz, on par wth beating, Baldomir, Judah, shot dlh, hatton at welterweight,,,etc.. No comparison. This is a joke. Duran moved up 2 years before that, and had 8 previous fights at 147 including a win vs a great Carlos Palomino before fighting Ray. Mighty funny we are talkng a bout a fight, that Leonard loss by a total fo 4 combined points between all 3 judges, and we leave ouit that Ray in the rematch fought a fight like Mayweather fights every fight..and yes he won.

What was Hatton normal weight class, or Judahs, or Dlh's, now JMM's. All of these fighters, who are Mayweathers biggest names on his resume, are all fighters that started out at lighter weights. Difference Mayweather comes out of retirement and faces a fighter who not only never fought at welter, but also never fought at 140. Wow.. Leoanrd comes back out of retimred after 5 years, and faces hagler at 160 who he has to move up 13 pounds to face.. Who has mayweather faced that is on the level of hagler>
