Maybe he'd comeback if the IRS was after him. He might then seek a fight with Uncle Roger. At 147! LMAO.
He has always fought the BIG names at the time....look at his resume and the times he fought guys and tell me if anyone was a bigger name?

when he won the WW titles margo was a nobody defending his WBO title vs nobodies....Cotto was fighting Malignaggi @ 140 and Shane Mosley was fighting Vargas @ 154

I said Floyd is a great defensive master.. Leonard is better all around.
What part of that don't you comprehend? There is no contradiction in that. Boxing isn't just about defense.
All aspects put together.. defense & offense Leonard is the better fighter.
Only people that don't think so are usually *****s. Don't believe me, pull up one
of the previous polls made on this issue or make a new one.

Instead Fraud elects to fight a middleaged featherweight turned lightweight at WW. cant you see how bad it is??

I agree on the last part. Leonard always sought a challenge.
Floyd fighting Pavlik IS NOT THE SAME as Leonard fighting Hagler

Leonard started at 147 and fought Hagler at 160. 13 pounds north

Floyd started at 130. 13 pounds north is WW not MW

Golden Boy are playing the broker roll for Floyd's fights. Why? Because 2 potential fights that will garner Floyd a lot of money reside with another promotion (Cotto and Pacquiao). Al Haymon doesn't get a long with either Arum or Top Rank, but GBP have a working relationship with Top Rank.

There were talks of potential fights with Pacquiao before Floyd made the official announcement. I believe GBP made a deal with Floyd to get him the big money he wants with him agreeing to fight someone in their stable. Out of Mosley or Marquez, which guy would you wanna face coming out of retirement the least? Hence we have a fight set for Sept 19th.

Boxing's business is far from being under wraps like how it used to be. It's too obvious these days.
Mosley was a client of Balco

Polls are nothing more than a popularity contest. Heck, Polls in BS forums show Pacman is greater than PBF at 130.

If you think what matters is at what weight you start your professional career then you are an idiot.

Leonard was a WW just as Floyd is today.

Floyd coming out to fight Pacquiao would've sent shock waves throughout the industry. Now his huge payday could go down the toilet after Nov 14th. A true statement would be him coming out and facing either Pac, Cotto, or Mosley.

Oscar offered him loot to take Marquez and will help him make his next fights more lucrative. High reward, low risk to start things off.

Baldo was the worst linear champion the world has ever seen. And now it's JMM.... He has a great name.... at featherweight!
