I must have missed that part when Duran KOed Leonard. hahaha.
Of course, he could. He would also accumulate as many losses as Duran did along the so called road to "greatness"
alright, I look foward to the future, where Marquez has wins over Middleweight into his 40s. sounds exciting.

if you didnt know, Duran already was next to legendary before his fight with Leonard. I mean, look at the guys wins before that.

It would be the same if Floyd took a year more off before returning to fight Kelly Pavlik.

ok we established Mayweather is a better defender....but just merely saying "leonard is the better overall fighter" is very broad.....

better what?..inside fighting? fighting off the ropes & still being defensive? Body attack? footwork?

i mean come on....alot of people say leonard is a better fighter cause he fought in that "great" era....but that doesnt equate to having better overall skills than Mayweather from top to bottom

Compare that to forcing a 36 year old ringworn JMM to move up 2 divisions. This is a guy who at the time Floyd entered the welterweight division was a featherweight.

              This thread is a lol.

Leonard started at WW and Duran started at 120. Yet Leonard was beaten up by a much smaller fighter

But the difference is Floyd will never lose to a LW and is not ****** as Leonard.

Floyds boxing skills and boxing brain > Leonards boxing skills and boxing brain

Mayweathers boxing skills **** all over Leonards...its a no contest

and you think Mayweather couldnt fight in the 80's with his style and still be effective?....

Duran quit cause he couldnt catch up to Leonard and the Pitty pat.....Mayweather wouldve made him walk out the ring...had he fought that Duran that Leonard fought

and Leonard admitted he fought Duran again cause he knew Duran was out of shape.....and he admitted he waited 5 years till Hagler got old to fight him....

It was a typo. And??? Does it NOT CHANGE the fact Leonard couldn't handle a LW.

No, it wouldn't. Since Floyd started at 130. And fought a champion at 154. 24 pounds difference

Leonard started at WW, and fought a champion weighing at 167. 20 pounds difference. Also the champion was NOT fighting at his healthy weight FACT

Leonard resume will always beat Floyds. No matter what Floyd does, somehow Leonard is greater,

                      Just like Hagler - Hopkins
