I think Top Rank boxing is plastic. Never thought much for Crawford vs Spence for the way these two move. The only way to counter narratives for a fight fiasco that fans want, challenge and offer a different opponent that supersedes the situation. Crawford could’ve moved up and fought Teixeira

Bud's clearly the better fighter and the Postol fight's a great illustration of that, but Taylor absolutely fought better opposition to get his 4 straps. That ain't to say Bud wouldn't have beaten 'em all easier, but he didn't. He fought Dulorme for a vacant title and Indongo for 2 more. Only quality titlist he fought at 140 was Postol. Taylor beat Baranchyk, Prograis and Ramirez for his straps, and he's beaten Postol as well, although an older version than the one Bud cruised past.

Don't think it means anything in particular does it?

I don't do P4P but the win last night puts Taylor amongst the world's best - or at least most accomplished - fighters. Even amongst the best there's levels though and Crawfords a shelf or two above Taylor. Have to see Taylor beat a top 10 Welter before giving him any credit at the higher weight.

So when we speak of P4P, we gotta keep that same energy. When Crawford beats Taylor, will that be Bud’s best win to prove his P4P stance? Taylor been P4P for a while. There are two current P4P Champs that have been Undisputed at 140. Industry will demand this fight

Multi weight Champions help justify the concept of P4P

Good points but I will defend Dulorme say he is a good quality fighter, people quickly forget that he fought Ugas and most people thought he won. Also beat Karim Mayfield who I have always followed.
