From 24HourBum a month ago: "I'll be shocked if Josh Taylor makes the weight. Dont be shocked if the 'Tart-Tomato' losses the IBF-WBA jr. welterweight titles on the scales. I wonder how bad of a beating Josh Taylor is getting in 30 days, and how many months will he spend in the hospital recovering"

I don’t care what you say, and I’ll bet you money if they ever fight again, no natter where they fight, Ramirez wins and he wins the third too

I think it’s safe to say Ramirez was the better fighter but not the luckier tonight he beat Taylor around except for those two KD rds.

Ramirez beats him no doubt in a rematch.

You haven't got the money to bet me. Mowing lawns doesn't pay that well.

Ramirez wouldn't fight outside of the US. If he did, that would be even more painful than tonight. Your history is shocking overseas.

Taylor wouldn't be at the disadvantage in a rematch because he won't be so inactive. Taylor knocks Ramirez out when at his best. Even tonight he lost 9-3 and got dropped twice.

There won't be a rematch though as it isn't deserved. The only one who does deserves one is Prograis. But lets hope Prograis gets his hands on Ramirez after he ducked twice and all the madness Mexicans said about him. He'd dominate and knock Ramirez out.

However, the advantage didn't pay off tonight. Sorry. You're just going to have to swallow your bitter tears.

Sid, it's nice meeting you again mate. Congratulations! A Brit finally defeated a Mexican fighter tonight. I know that you are just elated with joy right now. I tip my hat to Josh Taylor on his victory against Jose Ramirez. He performed much better in this bout than he did against Regis Prograis. He managed to drop Ramirez twice which was probably the difference in the fight although I thought Taylor boxed beautifully and won by a larger margin than that.

It was very difficult for Ramirez to fight on the inside due to Josh's stick, speed and quick movements. Also, when Ramirez did attempt to get inside he wasn't effective because Taylor would constantly hold and tie him up. Any case, great win by the Brit. I couldn't have been more proud of him. He stuck to his game plan for the entire night and didn't get drawn in a battle of wills with Jose Ramirez. He boxed just beautifully including with the two knockdowns

Yeah I thought Josh took his foot off the gas pedal in the later rounds because he knew had the fight won in the bag; Especially after the two knockdowns.

I thought the score cards were extremely generous to Jose Ramirez because if it had not been for those two knockdowns then this fight would have been ruled a Draw.
