Spence is now a bigger draw so manny is clout chasing spence just like spence is clout chasing manny. Manny never wanted to fight crawford, and crawford was never worth that much anyway, so manny intentionally priced himself out with an over-the-top, unrealistic amount. If spence wasn't a draw, manny would not have bothered and probably would have retired. Spence is going to retire that cherry picking pinoy senator.

The situations do compare. Welterweight is 40 pounds above Pacquiao’s first weight class.

Just saying, it speaks volumes for Floyd when guys like Manny and Canelo go on to do incredible things and climb the GOAT rankings, and you go back and see that L against Mayweather where they just couldn't even touch the guy. Yet somehow Floyd is supposed to be beneath them in such consideration when he's never even lost a fight.

There will always be a debate on who was greater floyd or manny.

But manny will win the remembrance/legacy debate.

He has so many wars and controversies and underdog moments and stories to his career.

Floyd only has the undefeated record to go for him. makes a boring story..

Manny will be remembered like Duran. An atg with flaws and ups and downs but great stories..

Floyd will be remembered like Calzaghe.

May would be UNDEFEATED if he had Pac's resume (given the idea May was ever as puny as Pac was).

Pac obviously couldn't survive May's resume

Bro, Manny turned pro when he was 16 years old lol. Not that it matters anyway... He was at his absolute peak and most terrifying when he reached welterweight.

His career is extremely impressive, but Floyd proved to be the better of the two. Not only beating Manny himself, but completely outclassing his greatest rival in Marquez. Considering all this, even though his overall body of work is arguably more impressive, I just can't justify placing him above Floyd all time

I guess Floyd doesn't get enough credit because he's really made it all look too easy.

I'd like to know what sort of crack people on this forum smoke? Floyd Mayweather is one of the greatest of all time, right up there with Ali, and he BEAT Pac already. Im not even going to list off Mayweathers accomplishments in order to partake in this silly discussion. Even if Pac beats Spence (Which he wont) he'll still never be better than Mayweather in the boxing history books.

If him turning pro at 16 was the reason he won titles in 8 weight classes, then there should be a massive list of 8 division world champions.

Welterweight is not Pacquiao’s best weight, he never even weighs in at 147.

Marquez moved up two divisions to fight Mayweather. It was a joke of a fight. Marquez then turned around and lost to Tim Bradley. I guess Bradley is better than Pacquiao as well.

Floyd knows Pac s greater. Floyd knew he was never prepared to go to the lengths Pac was prepared to go for greatness. Floyd ultimately knew keeping his zero was a hinderence and a weight on his shoulders

Everything Manny (and especially Canelo) achieves post Floyd only makes Floyd's dominance all the more impressive to me.
B H is greater than Calzaghe and Hopkins didn't even.need to beat common opponents with Calzaghe more dominant than Calzaghe did to be greater. Like Pac did with common opponents with floyd. Hopkins didn't need to beat Kessler in 8 rounds, stop Jeff lacy in 5 rounds to be considered greater.
Yet Pac beat cott o, dlh, Hatton in 2 rounds something Floyd never could do, Pac fights abroad, competed at highest level at a younger age, older age over many more divisions way beyond call of duty and you don't think people think Pac is greater?
Let's imagine if nel o wins a title at heavyweight and Pac does too .that won't benefit Floyd's standing and make Floyd's wins over pac and nel o look even better? People would expect Floyd to do it also.
