I don't support Bud fighting Josesito Lopez. I don't support the hypocrites who are quick to **** all up on Bud for fighting Lopez if he even does fight Lopez which I doubt he will. Because they are perfectly ok with their heroes taking weak fights or making bs excuses like Thurman hasn't fought in 2 years. Whose fault is that? Manny hasn't fought in 2 years and he's taking on spence, a man Thurman spent those 2 years ducking.

I think he should fight Ortiz before the Manny vs. Spence fight happens. Now, here's the thing, NOBODY will give him any credit for a dominating win over Ortiz, even though you have fans on here talking about how Ortiz would be Bud's first real opponent and that Hooker is a better win than anyone on Bud resume (LMAO!), but he is the best available name. After that you get in the ring with the Taylor vs. Ramirez winner a few months later. That way by the end of the year you'll have at least 2 "names" on your resume.
If he's gonna test free agency good luck with getting the best opponent possible. Thats not usually what Bob does unless he thinks you'll lose & idk that anyone on the TR side of the street would or should be favored over Bud.

And I suspect he's only gonna fight once before his deal is up, assuming it is October. I suspect Bob is only gonna let him fight once. I mean look at the landscape. He's been talking more sh^t about Bud in the last year or so than he's ever talked about him. They lowballed Showtime Shawn despite him being Bud's best opponent at 147 & perhaps his whole career. He's on a 6mo layoff currently & no announced fight. I mean look at his recent form.

      (6mos current layoff)
      Nov 2020 KO Brook
      (11mos layoff)
      Dec 2019 KO Mean Machine
      (8mos layoff)
      Apr 2019 KO Khan
      (6mos layoff)
      Oct 2018 KO Jose Jr
      (4mos layoff)
      June 2018 KO Horn
      (10mos layoff)
      Aug 2017 KO Indongo

PBC won't bother signing this tool. It was widely reported that Arum is asking Crawford to promote his fights at Radios and ESPN but Crawford keeps refusing to oromote his fights

I don't see why PBC wouldn't. He's a top guy in the division, hell many think he's the #1 guy in the division.

And sh^t man lotsa PBC guys don't really promote their fights so he'd fit in better with PBC than TR in that regard I'd argue. All they really need to do is hire a SM guy to put stuff out there anyway & interact with fans. You don't gotta go full on Ryan Garcia to hype your brand. When Rigo hired his twitter guy his hype went up massively & it got him his payday vs Loma. Wasn't a great opportunity in that he had to go up a couple divisions + the fight didn't turn out so well, but Bud is better situated in one of the most popular divisions than Rigo was as a lil guy.

As to Bud's non-promotion it could be that Bud don't like how things are working at TR hence operates like he operates. Canelo was a whole different guy with Oscar than he's been with Eddie. Dude is talking English more & just putting himself out there more to fans. Maybe a change of scenery could be a positive change for Bud too idk.

I like Bud as well and skill wise in that ring he is no question a Top Level P4P fighter

The REAL solution is to break FREE of Bob Arum just like:
            Oscar De La Hoya
            Floyd Mayweather
            Manny Pacquiao
            Miguel Cotto
            Mikey Garcia
            Andy Ruiz
            Zurdo Ramirez

Look, from Arum standpoint and just overall a business standpoint and having already lost money on Crawford, it would make anybody reluctant to continue invest into something you're just not seeing a return on. Not everybody becomes a star or a draw in this great sport only a select few through out history. He is somewhat the Mike McCallum of this ERA who never was able to fight Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran and never became a Superstar but still had a excellent Hall Of Fame career
