Completely Heartbroken and Devastated for Bud, Here is What He Must Do Next

Before y'all call me a hater, I am happy for the sport of boxing that the Spence Pac fight got made, just devastated for Crawford. I am looking forward to this fight and will buy it on ppv. The winner of that fight is the p4p king of boxing.

But Bud needs to put the pressure on Bob. NOW. Bob must be held accountable for his failure to deliver the big fights. And insist that big fights happen NOW.

Fortunately, there are 2 good opponents on the table. The first is Virgil Ortiz. I think this fight can happen because Oscar and Bob get along and Oscar is desperate for a big money fight.

The other is the winner of tonight's fight. Why not fight the undisputed champion at 140 when haters said the only reason Bud became undisputed there is because it was a weak division? What better chance to prove them wrong? For all of you complaining that he would be dragging up someone from 140, didn't pacquiao do this all the time??? With Algiers, Rios, Marquez, Bradley? Nobody complained there. Here he wouldn't be fighting just any 140 champ he'd be fighting the undisputed king.

I believe that both of these fights can happen but Bud needs to go to Bob and insist they happen now. I do not trust Bob Arum but I believe that if Terence is victorious against these two opponents then Spence will have no choice but to fight him next god willing.

Isn't Bud's deal over in October? At this point I think Bud has gotten about as much as he will outta Bob cuz he's past prime now. Idk what pressuring him will do except keep him inactive longer if he can.

I'd argue Bud should & will play out his contract this time around. He'll shop his options once he's officially a free agent, as he shoulda did the last time & as I'd argue ALL FIGHTERS should do every time to insure they max out their pay in this short term dangerous sport. Fook loyalty. Loyalty lasts as long as our contract. And he'll sign with the option that best fits his goals in his last years. Maybe that'll still be Bob. Maybe Eddie will pay him even better. Or maybe he'll go with PBC to chase legacy as well as probably the best money abit with more risk attached.

This is the truth but I also think his first priority must be landing the best possible opponent next and he needs to fight soon. I think he should fight Ortiz before the Manny vs. Spence fight happens. Now, here's the thing, NOBODY will give him any credit for a dominating win over Ortiz, even though you have fans on here talking about how Ortiz would be Bud's first real opponent and that Hooker is a better win than anyone on Bud resume (LMAO!), but he is the best available name. After that you get in the ring with the Taylor vs. Ramirez winner a few months later. That way by the end of the year you'll have at least 2 "names" on your resume.

Watch Crawford renew his contract with TR. Top rank is paying him 5 mil per fight to fight guys like Kavaliuskas anyways.

The hypocrites had no problem with Thurman did this and Manny cherry picked Thurman because Lopez almost knocked him out.

LOL honestly it wouldn't be THAT shocking to me if he did. The ideal time woulda been after his last contract to leave anyway so he missed his best opportunity.

I think at this stage of Bud's career he's gonna see more upside in fighting a name guy for $10M-$20M than a random guy for $4M-$5M or w/e. So he's gotta fight 2 to 4 Kavaliuskas (or waste 1 to 2yrs of his remaining career) to make the same as he'd get for one big name fight. Its too +EV to chase the big fights from here out for Bud.

You're delusional as fçk. Thurman fought Lopez as a tune up as he was out in the ring for almost 2 years.
