difference is... floyd fought canelo when nelo was still young... while pac is fighting a prime spence not a green spence.

now if floyd came back out and beat this current version of canelo, then yes, he's better than manny.

Frame it however you need. Floyd is retired. To equate that with ducking young lions is just bitterness that he beat Manny.

No it doesn’t. Only when it’s Floyd do we make these kind of criteria. Floyd’s career is over and done. Nothing that happens after, especially if he isn’t involved, has any impact in his standing .

Whatever Manny does won't erase that loss. Canelo is already an HOF fighter, one of many on Floyd's resume. If Spence gets to that level you can have that discussion.

4 is not false you will see, Floyd doesn't step out without a minimum guaranteed figure jumping into his account .

2 is not debatable Spence hasn't done anything to match Cotto Canelo Manny Mosley Oscar, Spence is like an Ike Quartey, talented and unbeaten but not proven at super-fight level.

Respectfully disagree, bro. Spence is definitively NOT as good as Floyd. There likely isn't a pathway for Spence to EVER achieve ATG status. He's 30 years old and still in his 1st weight class and has spent years not fighting Crawford, consensus Top 3 PFP past 3-4 years, and arguably lost to Porter (even with his 100+ low blows).

Manny lost to Floyd head-to-head and believe me Floyd is a tough out for ANY fighter in HISTORY from 130-147. However, Manny beating Thurman and Spence at 40 and 42 years would be remarkable. Both opponents undefeated at time of fight and, while both are shells of former self and kind of never "proven", they both passed the eye test for at least being solid. And any 40-42 year old faded champ beating solid champions is impressive especially given all their weight class jumps.

Floyd was an amazing fighter, no doubt, but like Bernard Hopkins Manny's longevity is thoroughly impressive.

I certainly understand why people would say this but idk. It's hard to top wins over Canelo and Pacquiao lol. The man literally beat the only two other serious contenders for fighter of the last decade.

But it is wild of him to reach this high and winning would be a very big achievement. Regardless of where it puts him all time though I really would like to see him do it.

So if another fighter comes along and goes 100-0 and defeats 1 champion in every weight class (all 17 weight classes) over his career...that doesn't impact ATG standings? Yes, it does...otherwise Floyd could never be an ATG because SRR, SRL, Duran, Hagler, Ali, etc. they all retired well before Floyd and they're all ATG

Pacquaio is putting Floyd to shame.
Floyd will bank $100 million per Paul brother without half sweating.

Manny will bank $20 million and get SERIOUSLY HURT.
