Fury's lineal status > plastic belts.

It was the fault of Arum to claim that "Wilder won't be a problem" and Hearn believing you can simply bypass signed contracts. In reality, they probably both knew this was a possibility and were playing along together like "Let's get some things done and make a huge noise. If you win, we go ahead. Otherwise, we both come out more popular and bout more marinated".

If Hearns were guaranteed by Arum that the arbitration won't be a problem, he should be suing Arum right about now. But, he won't. Because they probably both had an understanding that this could be an eventuality. If Eddie doesn't take Arum to court, it means there were no guarantees and it was all just talk. They might have thought or hoped for this outcome, but there were no guarantees and the contract would never have been signed without an outcome of the arbitration.

Wilder stopped Wilder vs Vlad b/c he wouldn't man up and take the challenge when the alien said he was still sucking on a baby bottle.

Wilder stopped Wilder vs AJ b.c 120 mil or 60/40 wasn't even generational money and good things come to Kings who wait. Actually, Fury turned into a cherry-pick gone wrong.

Wilder stopped Wilder vs Fury after going 0-2. As Montero said, there is nothing wrong with him taking step-a-side, rebuilding his profile with a couple of PBC KO's and checks, and getting a non-covid fight with the winner.

Hate lying Fury but hope he puts an end to the plague of the division.

He's apparently not owed what is contractually obligated to him I guess.

It’s not wilders fault 100%....from what I gather wilder exercised his 3rd fight two weeks after the 2nd fight....the blame is firmly in fury and his team for playing both fighters knowing full well wilder was in line if he won arbitration which he did.....and you cannot blame Hearn because he was assured by arum that nothing would stop the AJ vs fury fight and he went ahead and organised a mega money fight and we kept hearing from arum and Warren where are the details and contract for the fight and fury was even on twitter on Sunday announcing the fight.
low morals and dishonest behaviour towards Hearn and AJ in my opinion whether you like Hearn or not

I think Fury/Wilder ends in another Fury win, but it gives us Usyk/Joshua which I feel is the really interesting matchup.

Hearn said in June 2020 the fight was “agreed”. Apparently it takes over 11 months to confirm a fight that has already been “agreed”.

                  It's not complicated.

You don't make a fight if one of the fighters signed a contract to fight someone else and there's even the slightest chance the contract could be enforced.

And it bogus for folks to think Hearn is blameless in this. He was on the other side of it less than 2 years ago when Ruiz talked about unifying with Wilder. Hearn's reply? That there would be swift and vigorous litigation if Ruiz tried to get out of the rematch. Yet, Eddie assumes the same doesn't apply to Wilder during a worldwide pandemic to boot?

You have to be a special kind of arrogant (and yes, ******) to think you could get away with that.

And then there's the fact that they had the Lennox Lewis case as a ready reference for what might happen when they tried to ignore a legal contract.

it’s great fight to look forward I just hope the anti AJ posters give him his due credit if he deals with usyk convincingly which I think he will.....as for the fury wilder fight it will take a complete overhaul of wilders boxing fundamentals to have a decent chance against fury.....maybe he has been hard at work learning at least some of the things he needed before ....but I don’t know mate at his age not easy to change.
At least we know Joshua was 100 committed to facing fury......was fury I don’t think so.
fury would make 5 times the amount in Saudi than facing wilder and even if they paid step aside fury earns over 80 million but I guess he don’t want it

                      Cant Hearn appeal weinstein's decision?
wilder is nothing. his only hope vs fury is for fury to play soft and to fake dive twice like he did in the first fight. But it does serve AJ and Hearn for wilder to get another draw with fury as it will revive him as a huge money opponent (9 figures maybe) and they can all laugh all the way to the bank. right now wilder is a seven figure opponent for AJ. All raods lead to AJ.
