Why choose Arreola instead of Ruiz?

Arreola just lost to Ruiz. Why not just try to fight Andy Ruiz?

Because Ruiz will probably fight Ortiz next.

I love me some Chris but he ain’t beating Whyte at this stage of his career.

This kind of move defines the level of second tier heavyweight Whyte has proven to be, even juiced.

...and Arreola is expendable (like Ruiz was in the first Joshua fight). If Arreola beats Whyte, it increases Ruiz/PBC's credibility.

Whyte has two good wins, Chisora and Browne. I said good wins. We saw what Parker looks like and it still took a head butt from Whyte, Povetkin was dragged out of the hospital and Rivas got the worst deal. Eddy drank the B sample to get rid of the evidence. Arreola is good for his US debut, I dont have a lot of faith in Whyte, he got a lot of protection and still got flattened by a supposed victim. A win over Arreola would give Whyte better street cred than AJ at this point. He would achieve some celebrity, AJ has to lay down for us to recognise him.

Then Let him. It would be funny to see his ass gets knocked out again by another washed up 42 year old gatekeeper. Dillian Whyte fighting a Cris Arreola. Man this shit needs to stop! If he wants to fight somebody old then go let him fight Luis Ortiz
