Alexander Krassyuk, promoter for Oleksandr Usyk, feels confident that a deal will get made for his boxer to face IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Usyk, a former undisputed cruiserweight champion, is Joshua's mandatory challenger under the WBO.

I like Usyk - but as Cruiserweight. I wasn't convinced by the Chisora fight. Right from the first bell, Usyk was trying to evade Chisora's wild swings but still got caught. Whats going to happen when the more-powerful, taller, more athletic Joshua is in front of him.

Give him credit for chasing it but considering the only thing Usyk can muster to say is 'I want more money, Eddie' is a bit pathetic.

All the fights in the world are easier to make than aj vs fury. Anyway if this fight happens I hope Usyk scores an upset and wins. I know this is extremely unlikely but still I hope.

This is not a stadium fight. Usyk was a very good cruiser but has not been anywhere as impressive at heavyweight. Usyk is only due a shot because of a ****** rule that states a undisputed champion at cruiserweight gives an automatic shot at the heavyweight title this has not been done on heavyweight boxing merit. This fight might be a financial nightmare for young Edward as Usyk and the rest have now had a sniff of what could be around financially , so Edward has also got to impress on Usyk that he's not as good as he thinks he is !

Not sure exactly how big a fight this is but I see it being in a stadium because after over a year locked in the house people will be wanting to go to big events in stadiums again this Summer, and AJ is the biggest boxing star people want to see in the UK, even against a less risky opponent

Don't get me wrong it's a great fight usyk v josh and wilder v fury.
Only problem is they can lose and we don't get Josh v fury. Why everyone trying to sabotage fight and get in on the act?
why not let Josh and fury fight so we know who's the best.? So what if usyk beats josh, as people will say but fury is better than josh.
Usyk and wilder need to fight each other to qualify for fight

This is an intriguing fight, but one I think AJ should come through

All I know that this would a very interesting style match up for Anthony Joshua. I don't think AJ has ever fought a stick and move southpaw before. Most of his opponents were a lot slower, flat-footed and stood toe to toe by squaring up against him.

These are going to be pretty dangerous fights for fury and Joshua. AJ fights totally differently to how Chisora fights. After DelBoy and Usyk I instantly felt that Joshua would walk over Usyk, more consideration I give though leads me to think that it’s a potential banana skin. If Joshua doesn’t knock Usyk out I don’t see him winning on points. We might get the good ole judging we get in U.K. though which would mean Rob Usyk.

the style Joshua gave us against Ruiz II and Pulev is nowhere near good enough to defeat Oleksandr BUT Usyk performance against chisora is likely not good enough to win this one.

bottom line the main questions would be can joshua handle Usyks power at heavyweight? He doesn’t have a great chin does he? How will his stamina fare? And also Vice Versa for Usyk to answer too!

Usyk is not given much of a chance against Joshua, but who knows, he's quite technical and certainly better than Ruiz. One other thing about Usyk, he'll fight anybody.
