They were both boring, granted the first less so but I've never heard anyone refer to Woodley vs Thompson as a great fight but you.
Both fights were boring as hell with extremely little action and the crowd booing practically nonstop.
He was the belt holder at 145. He went to fight for the title at 155. Stop being obstinate. You obviously didn't watch the first fight, probably didn't watch either one. The crowd booed in the 2nd one. They weren't booing in the first one at all. It was a great fight.

      Tony vs Khabib
      GSP vs Silva
      Conor vs RDA
      Fedor vs Brock
      Aldo vs Pettis
Jones rematching either of his last two opponents
Ryan Hall getting a fight with well, anyone.
      Rousey vs Cyborg

Just a few off memory we could/should have had. A fair few of which Dana prevented us from getting.

Dana/UFC fans have short memories and the whole organisation has been built up on the back of boxing yet all they do is badmouth it and go on about how rubbish its run when the reality is its not all that much better and they have many of the same issues.
The only issue in MMA is that there are several different promotions. It isn't a lock that every top fighter is with the same group. However, each promotion has, you guessed it, one promoter who can gives fans the fights they want to see.
