His contract must be like an anchor around their neck. I can't imagine they are seeing a good return on that money.

They signed him for Canelo 3. If it ever happens, they win. If it doesn’t, they lose.

3G has two fights left in him at best, DAZN can not force a fighter to do much I would like to see 3G take a mid level but challenging fight then something to end out his time in the ring. I wonder if DAZN even knows he fights for them anymore, maybe they are keeping him on ice just in case the third fight shows up as was mentioned.

        This...

The only way I see the 3rd GGG fight happening is either Plant doesn't come to the table this September and Canelo needs a BIG backup, or if the Plant fight DOES happen and Canelo entertains a 3rd GGG fight for December being he wants to fight 4 times this year. My bet is on the Plant fight happening in Sept and Canelo takes the rest of 2021 off and GGG never sees a 3rd Canelo fight.

His original deal was made up of 50% DAZN stock options. Then after they let Canelo go from his deal they renegotiated it down from there so they are not paying him top dollar to fight nobodies. He’s almost done anyway so it’s a short term problem.

I think the eye wink deal was they were signing GGG to fight Canelo. I think as long as GGG vs Canelo III is looking possible to make I don't think GGG gets thrown into a too risky of a fight. If Canelo ventures off to fight Plant on PBC next or if GGG ages too much more without that fight happening I think they could press him more to fight someone else of note.

Ggg was NEVER going to fight Canelo again.(which is why he openly ducked the 3match)

Canelo has been a lifelong excuse for ggg to fight pool cleaners, gardeners,& fish mongers. I can't believe so many ppl bought that excuse.

Expect ggg v Larry the cable guy next(not the comedian who would actually outweigh him)

There is no valid reason DAZN hasn’t made ggg/Andrade other than they are trying to save GGG for a 3rd canelo fight because it made money previously.

They keep giving both guys bums and no names rather than each other. Complete BS.

the Canelo payday is the reason. But why would anyone wanna see GGG vs Canelo? GGG has no chance

                  1. He is even more washed now
                  2. He CANNOT knock Canelo out, as was proven in 24 rounds
                  3. Canelo cannot be beaten on points, as was proven in GGG1. The cashcow must be knocked out

Canelo is essentially unbeatable, only a guy who can knock him out can win. And Canelo does have a good chin to his credit
