    • Fighting not necessarily to win, but just last the distance, isn't much better than quitting on your stool.

      • If you rank the best boxer a 100 !!!

Roy would be 98 in his prime. Oscar was good but would never reach level 80.
Roy Woods in 6 and played with boxers who later would stay champions a long time. I certainly agree roy is not Roy of old but for all the great fights he has given me I would love to see him clime the rankings again and to win another belt. All this quit stuff is starting to get boring to read about.
Keep on going until you feel like stoping Roy !! best boxer ever

lolz....so it's the guys that come up to 170 or so that give it to him, ala calzaghe?

last time i checked, glen johnson and tarver are still at 175, bro....

i won't even mention hopkins or dawson.....

i hope you were making an attempt to be funny....had to.

            you're right...considering oscar's at JMW and roy's a LHW...

roy's right, he didn't quit like dlh, so his point is well taken. at the same time, does anybody not agree with the comment that roy is still fighting b/c of his ego? what else is it? the money?

            • Roy Jones ain't got the best grammar around, but he has a point. I think his career at the elite level is done, but he's completely right, he has never quit in a fight and that is commendable.
