I would think he would go from the typical 130 to 135 to 140 instead of up and down and then way up. I'm just wondering why he didn't secure a top fight at 135. Wonder if he has thyroid weight issues since he is up and down between divisions.
Tank is fighting all the top Hispanic fighters he can, so he can build his fanbase.

Time will tell, but I think beating Barrios gets him in the Top 10. I do think Tank needs to fight a P4P fighter ASAP, if he doesn't want his career to look like Terence Crawford's! Terence Crawford is Top 10, but I don't think he's ever beaten someone ranked Top 10 P4P! It's going to be hard because TR has the opponents he needs, so I don't see how he can get one. If Arum and Teofimo keep beefing, maybe Teo walks, and they make that happen! Some already have Tank in the Top 10!

Floyd must think that's the way to go? I would've rather seen him fight GRJ @ 135! Wouldn't mind seeing him fight Gary Antuanne Russell @ 140! Antuanne beat Boots Ennis twice in the amateurs!

It's clear that this is Floyd's strategy. Other than Liam Walsh, every relevant opponent of Tank's has been Hispanic and I don't expect that to change anytime soon. Based on that pattern, I expect Tank to face Valdez, Diaz/Fortuna or Zepeda/Lundy.

Because Broner failed in his mission to be the "Can Man" - so someone had to do it.

I hope not! Not when there's Regis Prograis sitting right there! I understand if Mikey Garcia steps up, you can't turn that down, but I want to see Tank fight Devin Haney more than I wanna see Mikey Garcia!

The one at 135 though is Teofimo Lopez. Shocked that he skipped 135 top fighters. His trajectory through the divisions is a little odd.

Because that's the match-up that they'll want to marinate into a mega PPV main event.

Marinating often fails. And the luster is lost when one or both fighters lose along the way. Skipping 135 where there were top fights are tells me that Davis has an issue with weight or the confidence to fight the immediate better fighters at 135.
