if he wants to survive, he must.

thats what every smart boxer does.

retreat so he can re pace.

That was his biggest mistake. He started trading in the second and he took heavy damage in rounds 2-4. He started trying to use his jab again in the 5th but by that time it was too late.

Both of these guys don't really like being pressured nor fight well under it. I see this being a boxing match and if Cotto tires like has been in recent fights, and retreats as soon as that fatigue sets in... I think Pac is gonna take it on over and slowly batter Cotto away into a TKO. (eventually Pac taking on the pressuring role)

Biggest scenario I see happening, is when Cotto gets hurt or fatigued, we all know he tends to fight going backwards. That only gives leverage to Pac if Cotto is tired. And when Cotto fights going backwards, and fatigued, every now and then he'll step back two or three steps and come forward with a 1-2 or some overhand right. Pac's left only fits so perfect in-between that, particularly when Cotto is slowed.

Cotto will "strategically retreat" from rounds 6 and on and only be forced to submit, or his body will.
The best prediction about Pacquiao vs Cotto I've ever read.

Yeah, that was good. Hard to believe pigdestroyer bet on Rubio over Pavlik with me.

Pig and me should have teamed up and combined our predictions.
