yes he should, when he gets hurt he retreats, grabs holds until he gets his legs back and he does this very well, he recovers pretty quickly, he did it in the Zab, Corley, Torres fights and Mosely fight. I think people are counting to much on Pac's power carrying him through this fight. Cotto is a crafty fighter, probably the craftiest fighter Pac has ever faced.

Cotto can fight goin backwards and foward. He's really good at it when he's on top of his game. If Paq hurts him, I think Cotto 9 times out of 10 make the right decisions and adjustments.

Pacquiao is becoming more of a boxer... a cautious one too. I don't see it in Manny's gameplan to come in and KO him, particularly to be ****in with a bigger guy like that. I don't think Roach is that illogical.

Both of these guys don't really like being pressured nor fight well under it. I see this being a boxing match and if Cotto tires like has been in recent fights, and retreats as soon as that fatigue sets in... I think Pac is gonna take it on over and slowly batter Cotto away into a TKO. (eventually Pac taking on the pressuring role)

Biggest scenario I see happening, is when Cotto gets hurt or fatigued, we all know he tends to fight going backwards. That only gives leverage to Pac if Cotto is tired. And when Cotto fights going backwards, and fatigued, every now and then he'll step back two or three steps and come forward with a 1-2 or some overhand right. Pac's left only fits so perfect in-between that, particularly when Cotto is slowed.

Cotto will "strategically retreat" from rounds 6 and on and only be forced to submit, or his body will.

Didn't Pacquiao retreat in both Marquez fights and first morales fight?? Sugar ray, tyson, duran, lewis,etc, etc....they'll all retreated. You have to be a fool to not retreat, regroup and come forward.
