It just dawned upon me that Canelo doesn't really have classic fights

First off, I think Canelo is #1 p4p right now. And he challenges himself more than anyone else out there except Inoue who is #2 p4p. That being said...

his fights just suck lol. Like besides the 2 ggg fights, all of his fights are boring as f Uck!!!

vs Lara, although Lara is to blame as well
vs Callum Smith, although Smith is to blame as well
vs Jacobs

and a whole lotta other fights. now im not saying they're meaningless, but i just have no incentive to ever watch them again. guys like Victor Ortiz, who obviously is nowhere near as talented as Canelo, got 2 classic fights I watch every now and then. Maidana and Berto 1. I never wanna rewatch a Canelo fight.

Honestly, there are more people with agendas, trolls and weirdos than there are normal posters here.
It's probably still the most active boxing board, but it lacks in quality boxing talk and gets dominated by promotion wars talk.

all hes doing is fighting people who are slowing down or were never that great in the first place. his last few opponents have been terrible despite how people try and spin it. . hes looked like a 'monster' since losing them 2 golovkin fights cause his opposition has got worse. yes hes clearing out 168n but thats arguably the worst division in boxing

His fights at 154 were excellent but everything after that was ok. He's picking and choosing too much.

Canelo v GGG 2 was an excellent fight

The first fight wasn’t really that good and ended in a bad decision with GGG being robbed. That fight left a sour taste in most peoples mouths because of the decision and it not actually been that good of a fight.

Manny has a few classic fights I think, win or lose. The last fight with JMM is a classic.

Floyd not so much, But I think he has classic performances, like the Corrales fight.

It’s difficult to have real classic fights if not many people can compete with you.
