  • Was Naseem Hamed really that good?

Honestly I havent watched enough of his fights. I know Barrera embarrassed him, badly. Some people say he would kill Morales and Pac...is it true?

If you look on his boxrec you will notice it says: United Kingdom

so that means he was a limey hypejob who was little more than a journeyman.

here is a tip, whenever you see those tow words, United Kingdom it means Bum

At his best he was really good, wouldn't have 'killed' Pacquiao or Morales though.

He could beat them, he wasn't REALLY embarrassed by Barrera tbh either, 3-4 rounds down and clearly not past his peak and having hand problems apparently.

thats pretty much right, but i think nas was an exception to that rule
he was a freakish athlete and great entertainer in the ring and much, much more than a journeyman, he had that one punch power many would kill to have, he wasnt afraid to get hit to land hes own and he more than often did and from some of the craziest angles you will ever see, because of hes unorthodox style he was prone to flash knockdowns and walking into punches, which made alot of hes fights very exciting

he is one of my favourite fighters to watch in the ring ever

He was the best i've seen in his prime. His career pretty much went spiral when he left his trainer Engle or however you spell it. At his best, he toyed with most champions. I don't know how he would have done with Barerra, Morales, and Pacqiao but at his best it would be a good fight.

and that all looked incredibly great against good competition,

however, once he stepped it up and faced great competition,

                    well, you know the rest.

He was exciting to watch though and its a shame he didn't continue which is why I don't rank him all that great. He ran into a stumbling block and just flat out gave up without even trying again.
