  • BREAKING: Bob Arum: We're NOT Paying Wilder, We'll Just GET RID OF HIM. Joshua vs. Fury in November or December

“We’re not paying Wilder to step aside. It’s better to get rid of him and go about our business. We can make the Fury-Joshua fight for November or December.”
I don't think the Saudis will go for it, but it's entertaining regardless.

I see KTFOKING posted it below but can't delete. Sorry about that.
Just when we thought we were finally on our way to an undisputed heavyweight title unification between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, an arbitration judge ruled that Deontay Wilder is still owed his third fight against Fury, which must take place before September 15. While the ruling also paved way for potential delay to Fury-Wilder […]

Arum has reserved a stadium for July 24th

Wilder might meet his maker quicker than expected,

Big risk but makes sense. Push Wilder to sign for the fight quickly if he really wants it. Fury beats him again then still have unification in the fall.
The fact that Wilder hasn’t said anything publicly yet makes me think he doesn’t really want it but we’ll see.
Respect to him if he does it before September. He’ll likely take that L again.

        This makes the most sense.

Fury takes care of wilder and AJ removes Usyk.

Then AJ vs fury November here in the UK where it should be

Sounds good but Arum don't exactly have the best track record for this ****.

I'm waiting on Eddie. All this nonsense done turned me into a Hearn fan.

Lmao. The fact the guy just spent 5 months in arbitration to force the fight, doesn't lead you to believe he wants it. He has to come out publicly and say it.

The guy's been trying to force the fight, and has been training like a manic, and looks to be in great shape. But you go ahead and believe what you want.

No chance it ends up in the UK

the UK cannot compete because they don’t pay site fees, let alone a $150m fee.

they wound be stuck with hiring a venue like Wembley, and the gate receipt at Wembley even with inflated prices won’t even do a quarter of what the Saudi’s offer, going on previous gate receipts

it’s just not ever happening in the UK, people need to get used to that idea. Nobody is going to take around $100m off the table just to please the UK fans.

you could say he is legally put himself in a position where they would have to pay him a step aside fee, Maybe that was the intention.

So, Wilder either gets the fight he wants or the step aside fee he wants. Which one he actually wants remains to be seen.

Yes indeed why force the arbitration if he doesnt want the fight?

Not only has Wilder been training, he looks really good and sharp in the videos I have seen of him working with Malik Scott.

Cant wait to see Wilder in the ring again. BOOOOOOOOOOMBZSQUAAAAAAD. (Hey, thats just a catchphrase, dont put me on no watch list!)
