naw Wilder is learning the sweet science and has learned his lesson. He will stop both of them no doubt. Now Joshua and fury can fight and i want to see that as well but the WBC belt won't be in the mix. Both fighters want to be the unified undisputed so Wilder should he step aside will receive a HUGE check. The ball is in Hearn and Arum's court.Comment

I expect the same result & want to see an undisputed champion but this ruling was no surprise so the third fight will happen unless Fury vacates or becomes Franchise champion. When or if a 3rd fight happens I wonder if Wilder just throws caution out the window & goes for the kill early? It is still a fight that interests me but the Joshua/Fury fight is more important but I’m not positive it happens now if Wilder doesn’t step aside. Don King & Trevor Bryan are also in line for their WBA shot after Usyk gets his WBO chance…Last edited by joe strong; 05-18-2021, 06:47 AM.Comment

I would have to agree. The hatred of him specifically is because he stayed with al Haymon and didn’t sign with dayzin for that multi-fight contract that would have resulted in a lot more subscriptions for Eddie hearn’s app. Eddie hearn demanded options on wilder’s career at every offer to make a fight and wilder resisted. For those with the “empire” mentality (of which I have always held utter contempt for in regarding my homeland) this was an unforgivable sin.....

Yes. I'm a Wilder fan I want to see him get a shot at getting his belt back. If Fury wins then its onto AJ if AJ wins also. The man had 10 straight title defenses he deserves his shot to get his belt back the same way AJ got his opportunity and all champions get their opportunity. I'm confused why people suddenly want to change the rules & Wilder doesn't get what everybody else gets. Irres a weird agenda against the man who brought American heavyweight boxing back and has always given fans exciting fights. Never seen anything like this in my life
My problem is that the rematch has put the division on hold for 18 months. When did that ever happen?
I don't blame Wilder at all. I blame Fury.Comment

That's what it is. They were appalled when Ruiz threatened to not give AJ his rematch. The mere thought of Wilder-Ruiz for undisputed.
Funny, none of these same cretins were screaming undisputed at that time. It wasn't the most important fight back then.
Fast forward 2 years later, 2 Brits have a chance at undisputed, and suddenly the champion who lost his belt doesn't deserve his rematch?
It's quite appalling, tbh. Being on this site for so long, you come to expect it though.
I get it, we probably won't see 2 Brits fight for undisputed in any weight class in our lifetime. There's just not many good fighters. It's still disgusting to see the lack of class and honesty, and hypocrisy when the shoe is on the other foot.Comment
