We all seen this before in boxing history is when Floyd Mayweather retired from boxing to duck the Oscar De La Hoya rematch, Do you guys see Tyson Fury to pull the same stunt to avoid Wilder?
My Opinion is; NO, Floyd Mayweather had to retire because he did not want to rematch oscar at all so he would have been force to pay the penalty but he could not afford to pay the penalty for avoiding Oscar De La Hoya at that tim in his career so he was forced to retire and wait Oscar out, however with Tyson Fury I believe he has made some major money in the sport already so he can afford to pay the penalty for not fighting Wilder.
but I think he faces Wilder again because... I cant see him giving Wilder a free paycheck of that amount.
