Prizefighters are after money, it's understandable. If you're going to get hit in the head for a living, may as well get paid enough to enjoy life and pay for all the brain issues you're going to have due to boxing for a living as you get older.
But Andrade is simply just after money, to the point that he doesn't feel like he should take a smaller check to fight the best available.
He feels like the legends of his time, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Hopkins, Marquez, etc. never took considerable lower % of the pie to make fights happen. It appears his issue is pricing himself out (Lara) and pulling out of fights because he thinks he can get more money (Charlo).
It has all come down to money for him. And yes, as I said, prizefighters want the prize. Problem is the HOF'ers before him, at one point had to fight top guys for 'peanuts' and as the B-side.
He's not doing that. He wants to be awarded with a big payday forcefully, without earning it.
