So Fury and Arum played everyone for fools.

The last deal he worked out with them they reneged and he just had to spend millions to get the deal enforced. Why would he ever do a deal with them when they aren't to be trusted?Comment

Because it’s a chance for Haymon to take control of the division in a single swoop. It’s his entire goal. Unify all the titles to abolish them in place of the PBC belt.Comment

I worked in contracts for years and called this **** beforehand, and I'll give you another take since my hand is hot: the reason Arum was going off on Hearn a few weeks ago over Saudi Arabia was because the way Hearn was doing the deal didn't allow them to have the event set in stone with an amount of money in escrow well before Top Rank had to wrap up making their case to the arbitrator.
If they'd have had the venue booked, money changed hands, etc. I suspect Top Rank would have had a better chance of the arbitrator ordering Fury-Wilder III after the first Joshua-Fury bout. But since they didn't have a deal done the arbitrator had no reason not to order the Wilder trilogy first.
Hence Arum's outlandish tantrum.Comment

As he should, not his fault the piece of garbage Fury spent the last 15 months drinking and whoring. He could have got the rematch done and dusted months ago if the fake gypsy coward actually wanted to fight instead of running his mouth and drinking 12 pints of lager every day.Comment
