Follow the money....
The most sensible and lucrative thing all-round will be for a step aside deal along with an agreement for Wilder to fight the winner. I thought Wilder would never fight again and I hope he doesn't just bag some cash and retire. This gives him plenty of time to knock out another tomato can, get his fanbase all excited and then fight AJ in what would be a great exciting fight (as hopeless as Wilder is, styles make fights and I think he is a live dog against AJ, but fury has his number) in 2022.
I am sorry but it's not happening Bro. Wilder wants Tyson Fury's ass not money. He wants the ultimate revenge/redemption in sports. That is to lose the World heavyweight championship and then regain it back again.
I like Wilder. I love a KO artist. But his excuse making after the loss has been lame. And anyone who interferes with 1 and 2 fighting to determine a clear #1 is a villain. He should get in line,
fight a tune up, and fight the winner. End of story
Must admit I did not see this coming, it was always a chance that a force majure event could complicate an otherwise straight forward contract clause, and a pandemic is certainly that, but how in hell did Arum allow it to get to this?
This really appears to be very poorly handled on their side and has worked out well for Wilder, I very much doubt he wanted a quick rematch.
If Wilder does want step aside money, he is in an unbelievably good position to negotiate it now, with Joshua's mandos and the SA deal etc, he could go close to his biggest pay day by not fighting.
You lot kept trying to tell these little
eddie heard degenerates but they were blinded by flag waving and jingoistic bigotry....grand show old boy grand show
I know right. I was trying to tell them that there was no way that Fury was leaving with Wilder's belt after he was given two bites at the apple and he wouldn't so much as graciously give him Deontay one bite. Here in 2021 that's just not happening bro. Team Wilder along with Al Haymon pulled out the full court press on Team Fury's ass and now we've seen what happened.

Al Haymon is clearly the godfather of AMERICAN BOXING
Sure I prefer AJ vs Fury 1 and 2 as well BUT I can't be upset with the Man Wanting the Guaranteed Rematch that was originally agreed and signed Contractually but couldn't happen because of a Pandemic which nobody can be blamed for
Lets see how this gets worked out, maybe they can work out an agreement with Wilder and AJ vs Fury moves forward but all Trust is likely LOST between both Camps so that doesn't seem likely
