Why doesn't Fury just go on with the AJ fight? What's the worst they can do to him if he doesn't fight Wilder? Lol, he'll have plenty of cash to spare. I'm guessing Wilder will get a nice step aside fee for this, I don't think he has any interest in fighting Fury next, it'd be the end of his career

If the arbitrator rules "in favor" of Wilder, they aren't going to do so because he has valid contract, they're actually going to do so in opposition to what's in the contract because they deem that to be what's fair in light what's happened during the pandemic.
We can only speculate, but I think the clearest way to look at it is that Arum has in effect been playing with "house money" since the day Wilder's contract allegedly lapsed: there's no chance the arbitrator is going to tell someone with a black and white contract that they owe Wilder/PBC damages for not making a fight after the contract clearly expired (if it did). If Arum got lucky, Wilder would hear his contract expired and just move on and/or the arbitration would go favorably for Top Rank. If not, arbitrator likely says making a third fight next is what makes both parties whole, and Arum ends up right where he was last year only now he stands to lose less money (maybe make money?) on Wilder-Fury III because they can do a gate at the MGM grand.billeau2 likes this.

Despite that smooth jive that Tyson Fury laid on you guys in that twitter video. He lied to you guys. He is full of contradictory and inconsistencies. He knew he wasn't fighting AJ next. Also, he didn't receive a call from some Prince either. The fight was never happening. I told you about the legal trouble that he was in for breaching his rematch clause with Deontay Wilder but you didn't believe me.

No matter your preferences, I don't understand why anyone would be happy about this result? You people don't want to see Fury/Joshua for all the marbles? The biggest HW fight in decades? You really wanna see a pointless trilogy with an exposed Wilder?greeneye99 likes this.

I actually think Bob and Fury knew all along they will be fighting Wilder next. They just wanted to waste Eddie’s time. Fury loves trolling Hearn and AJ. I mean think about it, how the heck does Fury have direct access to the Prince of Saudi? If Fury’s next fight is in Saudi, then why is he training in the states when the time difference is so huge. He was better off training in U.K. for a fight in Saudi.
Arum has played a blinder on Eddie. They wanted to make Hearn look like a total fool and they have succeeded. They knew all along they were fighting wilder at the new stadium in Vegas. Even Wilder has started training all over again. It’s so obvious they wanted to waste Eddie’s time

Follow the money....
The most sensible and lucrative thing all-round will be for a step aside deal along with an agreement for Wilder to fight the winner. I thought Wilder would never fight again and I hope he doesn't just bag some cash and retire. This gives him plenty of time to knock out another tomato can, get his fanbase all excited and then fight AJ in what would be a great exciting fight (as hopeless as Wilder is, styles make fights and I think he is a live dog against AJ, but fury has his number) in 2022.
