Hasn't fought in 2021, fought once in 2020, once in 2019, once in 2016, didn't fight in 2015 (I thought he retired in 2015 until he came back and fought in 2016).

What is it that makes him so inactive.

Thanks to Al’s help everyone is a ‘superstar’, making big bucks. Like Porter who said he’d sooner sit out the entirety of the year than fight the likes of Ennis or Ortiz. Mikey is also looking for a big fight. These guys have tasted a certain amount of money and besides the easy check in a gimme fight, they wont take a risk without as much or more of the crazy payday’s even Al hasn’t found sustainable to keep paying them.

Mikey doesn’t work with Al like that, but’s he’s tasted it. Only paydays from now on.

I mean no need to even bring up 2015 since everyone knows he was going through a legal dispute with TR and same with 2016 until he was freed to leave.

But Garcia is a guy that looks for the big fights. He fought early 2020 before the pandemic and after that has been chasing the Pacquiao fight........Which he's thus far been unsuccessful in getting. He finally has woken up and said he may need to move on as this thing keeps dragging on. Both Garcia and Crawford put all their eggs in the basket for the big Pacquiao showdown and it has stalled their careers. Time to move on.

Well he has a big ranch, same as Charlo , in all seriousness, Mikey is looking for and seeking certain paydays, like the 7m that Hearn was dumb enough to pay him to fight Vargas on DAZN, and judging by his current weight/pictures he doesn't seem to live the life.
