He was arguably in front - or least close rounds even if you didn’t have him in front. However in despite of BJS scoring the more scoring punchers it was clear that Canelo was having more of an affect and i don’t think many were not expecting him to be KO’d around the time he quit (whether that’s what you want to call it or not).

Really? It was strictly a question asked out of curiosity. This sight apparently thinks their reading base might be interested enough in a jr welterweights opinion on a super middle weight fight to post an article on it, an opinion you may have been curious to know too as it seems you may have read the article like I did. Saunders will get KTFO every time he steps up to top level. That is why he has been avoiding top guys his entire career. Saunders has no power and without PEDs he can not make 160 and can not run like a chicken for all 12 like he did vs Lemieux. The key for Saunders is to NOT fight the other guy since he has no power and apparently his face breaks really easy and he has no heart.

But that's what happens when you aren't flawless against Canelo. You have to box with no mistakes and constantly adjust to never give Canelo the same look, in order to beat him. BJS got complacent and got timed, then got punished for it.

Josh has his hands full, he needs to focus. He's what I was talking about, when I said Ortiz isnt ready for boots. Taylor is a 17 fight wonderboy trying to cut across. A home built weight bully with less credentials than Ortiz and less movement than BJS. His inside game is strong, but Ramirez is going to charge to enter. Taylor is taking damage too, his eye looked terrible v Prograis. With 27 fights, Ramirez is no mystery, less cunning and more aggressive than Canelo, what he lacks in traps, he makes up for with combos. I'm wishing Taylor good luck, but this wont be easy.

I had Canelo ahead anyway, but even if it had been even at that point, Canelo was fighting more within his abilities up to that point and Saunders had given it all and was starting to slow -- in other words, you can't just claim the scorecards present a whole story from which you can project the arc of the whole 12 rounds in a hypothetical situation in which his face didn't get broken. More damage was coming Saunders' way no matter what.

That all said, you can say he was at least a test at that level, in that he wasn't a pushover. How much of a test is up for debate -- that Canelo was standing flatfooted and swinging for the houses shows he didn't have much respect for Saunders' ability to hurt him.
