I like the “if his face wasn’t caved in he was in the fight” narrative. Ugh yeah, he’s a world class fighter and a champion. Of course he was at that level. Doesn’t mean he was ever going to win that fight.
    Hilarious.

For those like Taylor saying Billy Joe won the first round, go back and look. I don't think he landed a punch in the first. Canelo was the aggressor, pushing the action and landed several thudding body shots. If BJS did land a shot, it was a only one.

I’m not sure if I agree or disagree with Taylor on this one. BJS had his moments and was hanging in there, but it was only a matter of time before Canelo ko’d him. He was getting walked down and hit with heavy shots all night.

I'm just not sure that's the mentally Josh wants to have going into a Big fight with Ramirez.
          Calling it now.

Josh Taylor will continue the recent streak of Brit boxers taking career-altering L's. Let it ride on Ramirez it is

Josh Taylor does not know what he is watching, this proves his low Ring-IQ. I am convinced more than ever that Josh Taylor is getting schooled by Jose Ramirez. I think Taylor is planning on going the distance, survive, like Luke Campbell -- hell maybe Luke is better than Billy Joe now that I think about your point a view a little more carefully.

He's just repping for Team UK. There won't be any doubt next Saturday when Triple T lands those sickeners to Jose's ribcage. There's a Tornado heading to Vegas.

Saunders was competitive, but Canelo was in control of the fight and very poised and calm, knowing he was going to put the heat on.

As for stoppage, I guess one can look at it two ways. Some say it was right not to continue to prevent further damage, and others say he could've tried to continue.

Those that say he could've continued, compare it to Sugar Ray Leonard fighting with basically one eye against Hearns in their first fight. Also, as Teddy Atlas mentioned, Carmen Basilio in one of the fights against Robinson.

But few fighters are willing to fight that way, they are willing to win no matter what. I do recall a boxer named Frankie Warren who also fought on busted up against Buddy McGirt.

What, if anything so far, has Tyson Fury said about Canelo vs Saunders and the outcome?

Lmao, if the opinion of what a heavyweight thought of a fight between two super middleweights matters to you then I think you are in the wrong sport bro. Why on earth that would even bother you or matter is beyond most people.

We KNOW what happened don’t we? So we don’t need anyone to tell us. And just because fury supported Saunders isn’t anything wrong. How about when canelo went and hyped up Ruiz Jr in the Rematch with joshua? Canelos opinion on that didn’t interest me, because I already knew why Andy lost. Hope you see where I’m going with this and I Hope you enjoy this day we are in sir.
