    A puncher’s chance, that’s about it.

Been awhile since Bud was in there with a real opponent so it's hard to say how he'd do....

Crawford STOPS Jermell Charlo. I say...Round 8 at the most. Notice I didn't say knockout, I said stop.

It basically goes the same way as Crawford/Benavidez.

I said it before; Crawford beats almost everyone that's at 154. Lara is the only exception I can see right now.

        BUT...your point is flawed.

If Crawford fights Charlo, it means that Crawford ducked Spence. Because Charlo is PBC. Which means Crawford accepted B-Side to fight Charlo but not Spence. That's a duck of Spence.
He’ll have to catch him on something silly but I would bank on him losing rounds until Charlo gets caught.

        just like BJS vs Canelo.

but I personally don’t see it happening. Charlo isn’t all that to me. Neither are. I think they both believe in their power too much. But I don’t think Crawford has much of a chance besides a puncher’s chance... and that’s if his power carries up another weight class.

I’d pick Crawford by decision. Jermell has flat feet and can be outboxed. If Tony Harrison and John Jackson can outbox him why can’t Crawford?

Could Jermell catch Crawford and potentially knock him out? Probably, but I think Crawford is smart enough to stay out of trouble.

          Interesting fight…

Considering Bud has never fought a top 147 lber, I'd find it hard to believe he'd beat a big 154 lber who's about to go undisputed in his weight class.

What’s Charlo’s best win though? Harrison? Trout? Fights he struggled in as well.

If this was Crawford moving up to fight an elite fighter I’d agree with you but I honestly don’t see anything special in Jermell.

In terms of ability Crawford is a level above Jermell, it’s just a question of whether the size difference would be too much.

A chance? I have Crawford as a heavy favorite. He walks around at about 180 or so, making 154 would be easier for him than 147. He is a better boxer and puncher. I suspect Jermell would never take that fight anyway.

Best fighter he faced in his prime was Vanes and I thought he lost. People want to hate on my boy Vanes but in his prime he was a very good boxer.

Just like Benavidez. Exactly. It's a shutout for Charlo until Crawford clips him, then the trigger ref would step in.
